Y/n: "Charles!"

- "Red Flag! Red Flag! All cars are to report to the pit lane as we wait to hear more from the Ferrari pit wall."

Y/n: "Is he okay? Tell me he's okay! Why can't someone answer me?!"
- "Miss... y/n. We don't have any news yet."

Y/n started crying and one of the team members helped her to a chair.

- "I'm sure everything is okay. His radio got a response but he sounded weaker than normal. The safety car and responders will take him to the hospital immediately."

Y/n: "Get me there! Please!"

The red flag allowed for drivers to leave their cars and Pierre immediately got out and took off his helmet and ran straight to the Ferrari garage.

P: "Y/n?! Where is she?"
Y/n: "P- Pierre?" She was crying and looked so afraid. He ran up to her and held her tight against his chest as she cried into it.
P: "Okay, it's alright. He'll be okay, the medics know what they're doing, the cars are strong. Shhhh, it's okay."

His voice managed to calm her slightly but not nearly enough as she needed.
Y/n: "I'm scared Pierre. That wasn't small."
P: "Charles is strong, he'll be okay. Can someone take her to Charles?"
- "On it Pierre."
P: "Go to him. I'll tell the others after the race that you're there."
Y/n: "Thank you Pierre, good luck."

Y/n was taken straight to the hospital and she immediately went to ask for Charles.
Dr: "Miss, I'm afraid only immediate relatives are allowed in right now."
Y/n: "Please, I'm his- his girlfriend and really need to see him. His family aren't here this weekend. Please doctor."
Dr: "Alright then, right this way."

Y/n followed the doctor down the hall into a small room where she saw Charles lying, unconscious or asleep - she couldn't tell from here - he looked okay though, apart from a bruise here and there.

Dr: "He's stable but not entirely conscious. It was quite a big shunt, he was winded and has suffered bruising on his arm, left side and neck. Otherwise we're confident there's no serious injuries. He needs rest."
Y/n: "Thanks doc."
Dr: "He'll be okay Ma'am."

Y/n was so relieved to hear these words and once she was alone in the room she went and sat next to the bed. She took Charles' hand and began to talk to him...
