Heyyyyyy readers, Sooooo I'm very excited since it is the very first chapter of this book but I'm also really nervous.

I wanted to start this book with my number 1 comfort character, Lou Miller. Cause I love her so much and she was my gay awakening.

And look, I know that this chapter isn't that great but please be nice in the comments. I'm kind of sensitive. I can't handle negative criticism very well and especially not when people say it in a rude or angry way. So please be nice to me. (damm the urge to type "it's the law" after that sentence. Are there any Kurtis Conner fans here?)

You and Lou were sitting in your shared bedroom. You sat on the bed, reading over some documents on your laptop while Lou was reading a book in the armchair on the other side of the room.

"Lou?" you said after you closed your laptop, she looked up from her book. she always wore these cute pink glasses when she was reading, they matched her beautiful blue eyes.

"Yes baby?" you walked up to her and pulled her to the bed.

"I wanna cuddle. Uhm.. I mean.. only if you want to" you said while you were fidgeting with your rings. Sometimes you were still a little bit shy around Lou. But it never failed to make her laugh. She kissed you on your  forehead

"Of course, I would love that sweetheart. You don't need to ask" You both started to take off your clothes and you put on one of Lou's t-shirts that was way too big for you, while Lou put on one of your t-shirts, it really made you laugh since it was way too short for her.

You both climbed into bed and she pulled you into a big kiss. She lied down and you rested your head on her chest. And she slowly rubbed your back as you two laid there in silence.

"I love moments like this" Lou said after a while "cuddling with you, just thinking about absolutely nothing"

"You know, this is like the only time when I just can't be bothered about work. No matter how hard I try to be worried so that I will get up and finish my work, I just don't have the motivation to do.. anything, actually"

"Maybe it's because you have been working all day and you only took one break" she said and chuckled

"I guess that has something to do with it. But I think it's because I feel safe when you hold me, and then I just don't wanna leave" Lou started to laugh at what you said, which made you confused.

"Yea, cause the safest place to be is in the arms of an ex alcoholic who is also a criminal, those things are big red flags honey" Then she went silent and suddenly looked sad.

"Sometimes I don't even understand why you, a young sweet beautiful human being, wants to be with an old disgusting person like me. I mean-"

"Stop, okay" You sat up and looked at her. You didn't understand where all of this self hate came from "You're not old and disgusting. You're beautiful and kind and just the best person" You gave her a quick kiss on her nose "And I don't get why you don't understand that I feel safe with you. You literally saved my life, remember?".

About two years ago you met Lou in her club. the two of you were flirting and dancing. but when the two of you were outside smoking a cigarette, you suddenly collapsed, you had a heart attack. Lou immediately called an ambulance and stayed with you until you were fired from the hospital. She offered for you to stay with her until you were completely better. And you caught feelings for each other during that time.

She stroked your cheek with her thumb and smiled a little as she started talking again.

"I guess, but any decent person would've done that"

"No, no one would have taken me in and taken care of me for three weeks. But you did. Because you're the most amazing person ever and I love you so, so much" And you leaned in for a deep kiss.

"That's really sweet of you to say something like that" You lied back down in your previous position. And she gave you a kiss on top of your head. "I love you"

"I love you too" You said. She pulled you even closer to her, she loved having you wrapped between her arms.

"Goodnight baby"

"Goodnight LouLou" And you both peacefully fell asleep.

aaaahhhh I'm so happy I finally posted a story. sorry that it's a little bit short but I hope you liked it.

I actually should be working on a project that needs to be finished tomorrow, but I didn't have the energy for that but for some reason I did have enough energy to finish this story.

But the teacher that I need to send my project to, got mad once over the fact that people sometimes use the wrong word in a sentence so she will probably freak out if I make one spelling mistake. And I have dyslexia. Soooooo wish me luck :)

Oh before I forget, my apologies in advance for if I ever reupload this chapter like five times. Sometimes I read it after I posted it and then I notice like five mistakes that I didn't notice when I proofread it.
