I sit on a barstool in the kitchen with everyone except Dylan who is asleep upstairs. We're sharing a room while staying here, well were sharing a bed to be more specific. I woke up this morning and I was going to wake him too but he looked to adorable and peaceful while sleeping, I couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm hopeless, I know. I'll wake him later though because today we are spending the day at the beach, I've missed the beach and this place. Good thing about owning a beach house, is the exotic beach that comes with it.
"So are we bringing the surfboards down?" Tpose asks as he pours himself a glass of orange juice before handing the carton over to Holland who does the same.
"Yeah, if you guys want. There will be enough for all of us to have our own."
He nods, an excited smile forming on his face, just like a little kid on Christmas morning.
"I've never been surfing." Amber says as she takes a small bite into her buttered toast.
Theo just stares at her, completely dumbfounded. Saying Theo loves to surf would be an understatement. He's obsessed so at the moment he's staring at Amber like she's an alien, until he finally opens his mouth and manages to say something. "You're kidding?"
She shakes her head. "You'll have to teach me."
"Oh trust me, I will. Everyone says I'm an excellent teacher." He smirks.
"No one says that." I correct him as I unscrew the cap off my bottled water.
"Shut up and roll with it."
I raise an eyebrow at him but shrug it off and take a sip from my water.
Amber and Theo exchange a few glances at each other before smiling widely. Cuties.
"I need a boyfriend. I'm the only single one in this beach house and you lovers are all making me sick." Holland says, cracking a smile across her face, while staring at Amber and Theo.
We all just roll our eyes. I will admit though I'm surprised Holland's still single. She's smarter then anyone you'd ever meet, she's absolutely flawless and she's always been loyal. Any guy would be lucky to have her in their life.
"I'm going to go wake Dylan up." I say as I head up to where Dylan is still peacefully sleeping.
I take a brief moment to take in his beautiful features. His unique simplicities intwine together to make a perfect whole and he looks like a giant, cuddly teddy bear. I watch his chest rise and fall as he snores softly and I smile to myself. This goofball is my boyfriend.
"Dyl?" I whisper, gently shaking his body in an attempt to wake him.
"Mhm." He mumbles, keeping his eyes shut and not even peeking them open to take a glance at me.
"We're leaving to go to the beach soon."
He opens his eyes gently and sits up, only to immediately lie back down. Groaning.
"Baby, what's wrong?" Concern clear in my voice.
"I have a migraine and I feel really nauseous. I think I might have a fever." He groans, his voice hoarse and deep.
"Okay you are not going to the beach. You're staying in bed all day." I order as he groans again.
"I'm going to go get you some water. I'll be back soon." I kiss his forehead before heading back down the stairs.
Everyone is still in the kitchen, talking about something to do with chicken? God my friend are weird. I grab a bottled water from the fridge, along with an aspirin and an ice pack.
