Annabeth's POV

A dance was coming up at my school, that Thalia and I are going to. I was so excited. I hoped that Percy could come, but I knew those chances were low. He lived almost hours away. I didn't bother asking him. But I did miss him a whole lot. Every time I closed my eyes I saw his beautiful face. The way his black hair swept perfectly to the side,like he just got back from a walk in the beach. And how his gorgeous green eyes are full of kindness and hope. I can picture his perfectly chiseled face with his high cheekbones, full eyelashes, and smile that lite up the world. The way his strong arms wrapped around me and I melted into them, my head in his chest. Then he would smile down at me, and I would be in my own Elysium.

"Beth Mrs. Roder called on you", Thalia, my best friend, whispered to me.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Roder, will you say the question again?" I asked

"What is one difference of the animal cell compared to a plant cell?" She said again.

"Um plant cells have cell walls" I answered.

Wisdom goddess prevails again.

"Oh yeah Annie got it right, next time though stop daydreaming about a guy totally out of your league!" Chelsea, the most popular girl in school said to the entire class. They all giggled accept for Thalia, who glared at Chelsea.

"For your information I do have a boyfriend!" I shot back at her.

"Oh really what sorry guy is poor enough to go out with you?" She questioned me with faked concern.

"You little", Thalia started to get up, but I pushed her back down.

"Here", I handed her a picture if Percy and I at the beach. I was. I was looking up at him with a sparkle in my eyes, and he was smiling towards the camera. A arm around my shoulders and mine around his waist.

"That's your boyfriend, are you sure you didn't pay or threaten him?" She looked at the picture in awe.

"Nope that's Percy he goes to a camp with me and Thalia", I stated smiling at the picture with pride.

She growled at me. She gets jealous really quickly if someone has something better than her. Whenever it's a car,clothes, and especially boys. What can I say, I have the best boyfriend ever.

-----------------The Next Day-----------

It was Saturday and I was so excited. Percy is coming today to spend the day with Thalia and I.

"Knock! Knock!"

"Beth your boyfriend's here", Thalia whistled from the bathroom.

I smiled and opened the door. It revealed my boyfriend, Percy Jackson. He smiled, picked me up, and spun me around. I laughed as though I was being tickled.

"Percy! Percy! Percy!" I shouted into his neck.

"That's me!" He replied.

"Oh my, I'm so happy you're here", I whispered in his ear. He pecked me on the cheek, and I kissed him on the lips, one hand wrapped around his neck , and the other one tangled in his hair.

"Where's Thalia?" He said pulling apart.

"She's getting ready", I said.

Thalia had changed a lot over the giant war. She still had her punk death Barbie style. But she had changed. Her black hair with blue streaks grew a little so it was now down to her shoulders. Her startling blue electric eyes haven't changed. She kept her Green Day shirt and black sparkly jeans. But she now has a odd tiara type thing woven in her hair. The sign of a Hunter of Artemis.
