Nice and cozy. That's how I felt. It was mid fall after the giant war and the seven were sitting at Mrs. Blofis' table enjoying the peace. The cold wind traveled into the house through the window, yet we were all warm in our fall attire consisting of sweaters and blankets. It also helped that I was in Percy's embrace.
I was leaning into his chest, and his arms were wrapped around me. I inhaled deeply and took in his sweet sea like aroma. Every time I was with Percy it felt like the first step out if Tartarus, full of hope and comfort.
I remember looking up at the sky, marveling at just how beautiful the light blue color was or how fluffy the clouds looked. I remember being mesmerized by the simple thing. You never know just how important something is intel you lose it. I now look up at Percy staring into his eyes. The unique orbs glowed with happiness. A gorgeous green color stared back at me. I noticed how the shades if green would change lightly each second, just like the ever changing sea.
Those eyes also held so much power. A simple glare could send an enemy into hysterics. To have complete control over an element was a scaring thing, but yet I could never feel safer in anybody else's arms.
"I'm bored." Piper said straightforwardly.
To be honest I was very content with my position.
"Yeah, why don't we do something exciting, we are in the Jackson house, isn't it supposed to be legendary or something?" Leo said.
"We could bake." Percy proposed. That's my Seaweed Brain always thinking about food.:)
"I've never baked before, so it should be fun." Hazel admitted.
Percy and Leo both gasped in horror.
"Never baked?!" Percy said flabbergasted.
"No cookies!" Leo astonishingly said.
"My mom wasn't exactly one for 'normal things', you know?"
"Oh well you simply have to, I love it. My mom always made the best chicken noodle soup whenever I was sick." Frank praised.
"Oh trust me, you have not lived intel you have tasted the legendary, gift of the gods thing that is Mrs. Blofis' food." Annabeth informed.
At that moment the door clicked and in stepped Sally.
"Mrs. Blofis!" Leo screamed.
"Yes?" She said slowly, looking around to see if anybody was hurt.
"Can you do us the great honor of making us cupcakes?"
"Oh of course," She said with relief, "For a second there I thought somebody was hurt."
20 minutes later
"I got that old time rock and roll!" Percy was currently dancing around the kitchen and singing or more like yelling that. in my opinion it was hilarious. Jason was laughing like a crazy man as he attempted to dance with Piper. Her brown hair levitated as he spun her around. Hazel and Frank were holding hands and talking at the table. Leo was just sitting there. Cracking jokes. At least Sally was laughing at them.
"Wallah!" Percy showed off the cupcakes, his hands mittened in oven protection, which were in fact floral printed.
Frank hesitated before saying, "Uh, Percy, I know you're not so master chef or anything, but I'm pretty sure that cupcakes aren't supposed to be blue."
Percy sighed.
"Oh what unfortunate people you are, never have had a blue cupcake," he paused. "Well my friends these were actually made to be blue they are not toxic."
I laughed a loud laugh at our friends carefully picking up the cupcakes and examining them. I grabbed one and took a big bite.
"Not toxic," I said with a mouthful of cupcake and icing.
They slowly but surely ate them. And ate them. And ate them. The thing about Sally's cupcakes are that they are addicting.
"Ahh" I yelled.
Percy grinned from behind me before putting a big cupcakey kiss on my cheek. Chaos came shortly after.
