Annabeth's POV

"Wake up sleeping beauty," my roommate Thalia whispered to me.

"Ugh don't call me that!" I replied.

"Whatever floats your boat owl head," she said sarcastically.

"Seriously wake up, if we don't get to class on time, then we'll get detention, then we will only have 2 hours to get ready! Only two!" Our other roommate Chloe announced.

You see every person is paired with a chosen partner. Mine being Thalia. Perks of being a demigod. Then you are paired with another pair and that's who you share a dorm with. All together there's 4 people in each room.

There's Chloe a colorful girl with bright red hair and startling blue eyes. She's always very energetic and pumped up... about nothing. She's also very interested in boys. She thinks that she always needs to have a boyfriend. And cares about stuff like clothes and makeup. She would get along great with the Aphrodite girls back at camp.

Then there's Kaylee a total all out girly girl. She has brown curly hair and brown soft eyes. She loves gossip and fashion and love and other stuff like that. She's really pretty and all the boys really like her. She's second in command in cheerleader right next to

The brat herself Chelsea. They are really nice once you get to know them so we became friends.

"Oh Chloe can you not think if the dance for two seconds?" Thalia questioned.

"No! I have to make a good first impression, I've been boyfriendless for two months now! Isn't that terrible!" She half shouted.

"I've been without boys my entire life, and I'm perfectly happy," Thalia replied with a grin.

"Complete boyless," Kaylee asked dumbfounded, joining the conversation.

"Well no... not exactly, I have a stupid but lovable cousin." She stated doing goggly eyes at me.

"Why are you looking at Annabeth," she started. "OMG he's your boyfriend isn't he! OMG!! OMG!!" This time she really yelled.

"Maybe," I said jokingly.

"This is us," Thalia handed the crazy girl a picture of Perce, Thalia, and I at the beach.

"Aww," both girls sighed in pleasure. And I felt like I was in the Aphrodite cabin again. Which I will never go into again, after they gave me a makeover.

And so I went into the bathroom. I stared into the mirror. Looking at me was a confident looking girl. I had dark circles below my eyes from the lack of sleep caused by redesigning Olympus. But I still managed to look dignified. My blonde locks were thrown on my shoulders, in a messy way. My eyes were like a storm, intimidating to everyone. (Except my friends of course, most of the time at least.) I wasn't amazingly beautiful or super pretty, or any of the things that Percy calls me. But I had a way with a knife. Percy, even though I saw him yesterday I already miss him. I was so excited for tonight, the school dance. 2 hours of happiness with the best boy in the world. 1 word AWESOME!!

"Come on Annie we're gonna be late and then we will half to listen to Chloe complain," Thalia said through the door.

"Ok I'm coming!" I replied

I quickly threw on some fresh clothes and attempted, but failed to get the knots out of my monster of hair.

I ran to my first class marine biology, the only class I was good at. You see with the whole rivalry between Athena and Poseidon, stuff that involves water isn't in my lane. That why Poseidon kids aren't that smart. Which I'm fine about, every time Percy did something stupid I got to kiss him on the cheek.
