The next day, I woke up, and I decided to eat breakfast and hang out with the guys at The Sandlot. "Hey, mom I'm going outside to hang out with my friends." I called out when I went out the door. "Whoa, young lady, where are you going?" I asked. "To The Sandlot, to hang out with my friends to play baseball." I told her.
"Are your friend's boys or girls?" asked my mom. "Boys, so what, are they a problem?" I asked. "No, just don't date any of them." She replied. You see readers whoever is reading this, in case you didn't know I came from a conservative family, who believes that I can't date boys till I'm 20. "Mom, as if, I'm 12 and boys to me are just cooties and I think of them as friends so don't worry." I told her.
"Ok, Sydney. Have a great time." replied Mom. "I love you." "I love you too, mom." I called out and I got on my bike and I ran to The Sandlot. "Hey, guys what's up." I told them. "Nothing much, you came just in time." said Timber. "Ok, what is it?" I asked. "We are going to Tommy's house, and recruit him on our baseball team." said D.P.
"Why?" I complained, while I put both hands on my hips. "Look, Sydney. We know what he did to your mouth was unacceptable, but I have a feeling that he's good. Besides, let's give him a chance. Also, don't hide the fact that you liked that kiss from him." teased Wings. I hide my blushing, so they couldn't see. "Ok, fine. You're right. Let's see what Mr. Show-Off can do." I said. "That's the spirit, Syd." smiled D.P. We both got on our bikes, and went to go to Tommy's house.
