Tommy's P.O.V
"AhHHHHHH!!!" I screamed. Then, I walked out in my Speed Racer Pj's. "Good morning, sweetheart." said mom. "Mom, where am I?" I asked. "You're at home sweetheart." replied Mom. "Mom, am I dead?" I asked. She laughed at me like I was funny. "Why would you ask that sort of thing." She said. "Because, I'm wearing my Speed Racer P.J's I haven't seen in 40 years." I told her. "Ok, I got a little backed up on the laundry, don't worry your Batman & Robin ones haven't run away." She said. "Mom, do you know how old I am?" I asked her, with sarcasm. "12, almost 13." She said. "No, I'm 41 years old, I live in Beverly Hills, I play centerfield on the Dodgers, I have a smoking hot girlfriend, who has her own reality show." I explained to her. "Oh, maybe I'm right, maybe I should take to you to doctors or something. Or you have a concussion and I let you sleep to long." She said worriedly. She ran over to the phone, to call the doctor. "Mom, I'm fine I don't need to go to the doctor. I just think I'm dead." I said, with a smile. She just gave me a worried look.
(At the Doctor)
"Will this work?" asked the doctor. "Give me a break, has anyone gone nuts?" I asked, with a strange look. "Ok, Tommy what's wrong?" he asked me. "C'mon Doc, isn't it your job to tell me what's wrong?" I asked angrily. "Ok, do you remember what's going on." said the Doctor. "Yes, like my mom, and the kids from The Sandlot. But, most of it, it's pretty much foggy." I replied, "Kind of, like TiVo." "TiVo, like television." I told him. "You see doctor, I don't know half the things he's talking about." Mom said. "Ok, with that bump on his noggin I'm sure he will be fine." explained the doctor. "How can you call any of this fine?" I asked angrily, "Come on mom, this guy's a quack." "Tommy, you apologize this instant." Mom demanded. "No, it's alright. Tommy, how about you wait in the waiting room." He told me. "Alright, whatever." I said. I left the room to go sit in the waiting room, and I hear mom talking to the doctor about her condition. To tell you guys the truth, my mom has cancer and she's been trying to fight it. That's why I always try to be a good boy and make her proud. Then, I see a girl with blue shorts a green shirt and a ponytail. Also, with some converses, I see that it is Sydney. "Hey, Sydney!!" I called out to her. "Hey, Tommy, what are you doing here?" she asked me. "The same reason why I'm asking you, what are you doing here?" I replied. "I asked you first." She said, with concern. "My mom thought I was crazy and she decided to take me to the hospital." I replied. "You're here because." "My mom works here, she's a doctor." She replied. "That's why you moved, because of your mom's job." I replied. She nodded. "What is the doctor talking about with your mom?" she asked. "My mom's condition, she has cancer." I told her. "Tommy, I'm sorry to hear that." She replied. She gave me a hug, in concern. I have to admit I like her hugs; she's so stubborn but so cute and kind. She pulled back. "I can relate, because my dad died from lung cancer." She said. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. It's alright you have your mom, your friends, and especially me the "Santa." I said, flirtatiously with a smile. "Tommy, this isn't the right time to be flirting with me. Because, I think of you as friend, amigo, chum, buddies." She said and hit my arm playfully. "Besides, I got to go. My mom needs me and your mom's coming over. Bye." She said. "Ok, bye Sydney." I called out to her and I waved she waved back. I see her talk to my mom. "Hi, Mrs. Santorelli." She called out. "Hi, Sydney." said Mom. "Ready to go." Mom said. "Yeah." I said. We both walked out of the clinic. "You know mom, I could use a drink." I said. "Maybe, we can go get some soda." Mom said. Then, we both got some soda and went home.
