I was happy, when I got home from my date with EJ. We had no distractions, we watched Grease. It was an awesome movie, I loved it. Now, I need to get some sleep. "Well, thanks for the date EJ." I said, while he was walking me to my front door. "You're welcome, Sideemon." He said. He combined the word Sydney and cinnamon. Now, it's my new cute nickname from him. "Well, good luck to the game against us.

I hope we both can do our best, due to our rivalry to the teams." He said.

"Yeah, me too." I smiled. He just came up to me and kissed me and I kissed back. "I Love you, Sidee. Forever and always." He said. "I love you, too EJ." I said. He pecked me on the lips, on the cheek, and forehead.

"Bye, Sidee." He waved at me and I waved back, and he got on his bike.

(Next Day Outside of the Candy Store... .)

(Sydney's P.O.V)

"C'mon guys, we have to get to practice. It's not worth it, having us to eat candy over practice. We could lose to Needman's team." said Q. "Guys, c'mon. He's right, we have to get to practice." I said. I see the guys give Two-Ton jaw breakers for him to win the record. "He has 5 jaw breakers, ladies and gentlemen." said Timber. Then, I see him explode and spit them out.

"Dude, you got to lay off the jaw breakers man." said Wok. "Guys!!" I screamed. They all looked at me. "Can we just get back to practice and win." I said. "Sorry Sydney, we can't. We lost Tommy and we are never going to win. Besides, why bother. You're the one who's dating our arch nemesis, EJ. Just let him win, and make you happy." said Wings.

"EJ, wants us to beat him fair and square not because of our relationship." I said. "Guys, I'm going for more." Two-Ton said. I see Two-Ton shoved more jaw breakers in his mouth. "This is going to be a long day." I muttered. Ryan looked up and nodded at me.

(At the Sandlot)

(Tommy's P.O.V)

Wow! Practice at The Needman's is the worst. I miss the Sandlot so much. I was driving my bike over there to see if practice was coming along without my friends. When I was there, all I saw was Squints and Benny talking about how Baseball changed their lives and how they became the best of friends. When I think about, all I can think about is Ryan's message replaying in my head about friendship. I came back from the Sandlot and I rode my bike and I went home on the bed and I thought about it.

(Sydney's P.O.V)

Today I came home from practice and thought about tomorrow. Gee, tomorrow's the all-state championship against my boyfriend's team. "Hey mom, what's up?" I asked. I saw her in the kitchen making dinner. "Nothing much, are you excited about the game tomorrow?" she asked. "Yeah, I am." I lied. I'm actually scared about beating my boyfriend's team. But, he told me that it doesn't matter that I beat him or not. I promise that we will be together this summer and forever on in life. He's probably right. I ate dinner and I took a shower, and I went on the bed and watched TV, and I wore my pajamas. I heard a noise from the window.

I got off from the bed and I opened it, I saw EJ. "EJ, What are you doing here?" I asked. "I just wanted to see how my cutie-pie was doing." He smiled. "I've missed you; I haven't seen you all day. I had to practice for tomorrow's game. Dad's making me, I love Baseball but I don't want to play just to buy something you guys love so much. It isn't fair." He said. "I've missed you too, everyone's practicing so hard. Tommy quit, and a lot of things have been going on." I replied.

"Sidee, may I come in?" he asked. "Sure, come on in." I said.

He came out of the window and took his shoes off. He came over and sat by me on the bed. "So, are you excited about tomorrow's game? Because I am." he said. "I am just a little." I smiled. "Hey, you should be excited. I get to see your cute face, and you get to see me." He said, nudging me playfully. "Yeah you're right." I smiled.

"But, when I think about it, I might want to forfeit." He said, sadly. "Wait!! Why?" I asked, with concern. "Because, if I beat you. You will be sad, and I don't want to see you cry, Sidee. I love you." He said, while he grabbed and held my hand. He looked me in the eyes, sadly. "EJ, it's alright. Winning isn't everything, and also think of this as a date. Not, a competition." I said, smiling. He smiled back in agreement.

"Sidee, you are so right. Besides, come to think of it would be kind of fun and interesting playing baseball against my adorable girlfriend." He replied. He pecked my cheek. I smiled, and I pecked his cheek back. He smiled very hard. "Yeah, I think it would be interesting playing Baseball with you." I said. "Yeah, how about we play baseball after the game is over with for the season?" he asked. "Yeah, sure I would love to." I smiled. He came over and hugged me. I hugged back.

"Well, I got to go, I will see you tomorrow. Good luck, and I love you." He said. "Good luck 2 you too, and I love you too." I called out. He went out the window and got on his bike and went home. He waved at me and I waved back. EJ's right, I probably will enjoy playing baseball with my boyfriend. This will be a fun date!!
