We were all talking about what my nickname should be, "How about Hotshot?" asked D.P. "How come? I like that name." I said. "Because you're good in baseball." said D.P. He was blushing hard on the next one. "Also, because your hot." Every guy on the team nodded, including Tommy. "Ok, I like it." I smiled. Then I see a guy with blond hair, who we all know by now that his hair is a wig, carrying a tape measure with a boy in a purple uniform with blond hair.
"Hello, Squints." said the guy. "Hello, Earl." said Squints. "What do you want?" "Nothing, just being polite." said Earl. I see the blond kid glare at the whole team, except me. He just winked and smirked at me. I just smiled back in courtesy. I got angry when I heard, Earl and Squints about selling this place. "What!!!!" I said angrily.
"You can't sell The Sandlot, we love it here. This is where we play and enjoy, and have a good time. You can't just take away something we love so much." "Actually, I can Snow White. I'm Earl Needman, from Needman Realtors and I can take down property and turn them into what I want." He replied.
"Besides, there is no talent here." "What I saw was talent, and as long as I'm Baseball Commissioner here. I don't see that happening." replied Squints. "Well, wipe those glasses." Earl told Squints.
I was so angry that I want to show him we have talent. "Don't slack that now, E.J." he told his son. Then, the Needman's left. "Ok, what happened with you and E.J?" asked D.P. "Nothing, he just smiled at me and gave you guys a glare." I replied. "You know him right?" asked Two-Ton. "I don't think so." I said.
"E.J Needman is the town's bully and he picks on people whenever he wants to." said Q. "Well, you know what. I believe you, if we can't be near that guy because he's a jerk then let him be." I said. They all nodded in agreement. "Also, we are saying that we think someone likes you." said Timber. "Who?" I asked. "E.J." replied Tommy. "E.J, why him?" I said.
"Because we saw him give you a smirk and a wink." replied Q.
"Well, that probably means nothing. Also, just because he likes me doesn't mean I like him back. Besides, Bros before Hoes right?" I asked. "Yes, Hotshot." said all of them in unison. I'm happy to say is that I love these guys; they are like my brothers from another mother. I am proud to say that they are family to me and they look out for me. I appreciate it.
