Here we are at Tommy's house; we had an argument about who will try to convince him to join our team. "Fine, I will do it. Just to get it over with." I said. His mom opens the door. "Hi, kids you here for Tommy?" she asked. "Yes, we are." I said. "Tommy, some kids are here for you." She called out.

"Hey, guys. What are you doing here?" he asked. "We just wanted to know if your fine." I said. "Hi, my name's Wings and this is-."said Wings. Then, Tommy cut him off. "Two-Ton, D.P, Timber, and Sydney." He said.

"Wow, it's all coming back to me. Like if it was yesterday." "It was yesterday." said D.P. "Hey, at least it didn't hit your eyeball." said Wings. "Well, I'm fine thanks kids. See you around." He said, while trying to avoid this conversation. "What's with all of this kid crap." said Two-Ton. "You sure you act like you don't want to join our team."

"What team?" questioned Tommy. "We play on The Sandlot." said D.P "The Sandlot. Of course." said Tommy. "Yeah, The Sandlot, needs another player." said Wings. "But, just because the greatest baseball player came back from the clinic." said Two-Ton. "Who said anything about me being on a clinic." said Tommy. "You?" said D.P.

"I'm talking about Benny." said Two-Ton. "The Jet." said Timber. "Rodriguez." said Wings. "That bum?" said Tommy. "What are you talking about he's got the best batting score on The Dodgers this season." said D.P. "Oh please, Benny could only get far because he can run. Then, he broke his leg and retired, became a coach." said Tommy. "What are you talking about? Benny's amazing." I said.

Then, he heard his mom call out. "Honey, go outside you need some fresh air." She said. "But, mom." He replied. "No, buts Get Out!!" she yelled. "I'll get my mitt." He said. We all smiled at happiness for achieving to get Tommy to play with us. Then, we all got on our bikes with Tommy. I was riding my bike and I noticed that Tommy is sightseeing the town,

I assume trying to remember what it was like for him. Next, we all arrived at The Sandlot to practice. I'm going to enjoy this; I can't wait for Mr. Know-it-all to see what he can do in baseball. But, the part of me is saying this. "Come on, give him a chance. Maybe, he is good. You never know if you never try." Then I think maybe my mind's right. Let's just see what happens.
