Isn't this so unfair?
We are 'lending' our daughter to you
Still the groom side treats us inferior
What self esteem you talk about?
Dowry? Essentials? Food?
You aren't satisfied with what we are giving you
Sending our daughter, our pride and our life with you
Still there are many thinking about
We will give our boy's hand once 4 lakh in advance, and later 6 more.
Not only this, the household items, all the prominent functions are planned by us
Still the bride has to listen from her father-in-law
"The wedding could have been organised more nicely that it was"
While the girl would just be in dilemma
My father and mother flowed all their savings in the marriage
Still the fat lords wanted more
Then the wedding videography is shown to all
Drawbacks, mistakes are pointed in front of Her
Her feelings are crushed under feet
Only she knew how hard her parents tried to match
With the needs of Her husband's family
But this is what she has to hear
"Such a miser, a little more could have been spend, but no!"
She just wished for a happy new after life
A sweet wedding she could always remember with joy
But now, it's an impossible task
To not think about her father's insult
And mother's cry
The pain of her 'Farewell'
Could ever be mixed with
The pain of her 'Heart'?
