Some people grow so close to your heart
that even if you want, you won't be able to part

It's not like only one friend can be there,
with whom you love talking
But if more than one is there, then just think
What impact the second one created.

Your heart flutters when you mention them
By time, they grow as precious as a gem.

सिर्फ़ तेरी ही वजह से,
अब ज़्यादा हंस-हंस के लोट-पोट होती हूँ
अब थोड़ा कम रोती हूँ
और अब थोड़ा ज़्यादा मुस्कुराती हूँ।
