Mirabel - 5

Mirabel sat in her room as her grandmother told her the story of how they'd received the gift in the first place.

Soon Castia rolled an alarm clock in to the room and told them it was time to go.

Mirabel was no doubt the houses favorite, and she hoped that would reflect in her gift.

She walked to the hallway, standing behind a curtain before slowly walking down the red carpet casita had made from its tiles.

She gulped as she walked up the stairs, glancing at her sisters briefly before joining her parents and grandmother next to her door.

She touched the candle, and almost wiped the sweat off her hands.

She got nervous though, thinking she would wipe off the candles magic.

She inhaled deeply as she put her hand on the door.

She hiccuped and found herself standing next to, well, herself.

Then she saw another, and another.

He door slowly changed to show Mirabel surrounded by many Mirabels that were fanning out behind her.

"We have a new gift! Duplication!"

Mirabel smiled as a picture was taken of her in front of her door with her grandmother before she opened the door to her new room.

It was big and beautifully decorated with something Mirabel would've added anyway, little tributes to each member of her family.

A chameleon for Camilo, a flower for Isabela, a barbell for Luisa, a kitchen area for her mother, and sunshine chandelier for her aunt, some sound waves covering her walls for Dolores, and an hourglass for her uncle.

The colors were mainly blues and purples, but with a hint of green.

There were like 12 Mirabels in the room at this point and Mirabel had to learn to make them disappear.

In the family photo, there were 3 of them allowed, real Mirabel, and 2 fakes, that was to show her power.

She played with her cousin Camilo, who's ceremony had been a few months prior.

His gift had added chaos when he'd shapeshifted into other people, but Mirabels was a whole new level.

They danced to the upbeat music and after the town had all gone, Mirabel soon realized her room was the only one casita worked in.

The 5 year old found multiple of everything (including beds) in her room.

She found the bed that looked most comfortable, laid down, and went to bed
