"I broke the rules, so even those fun times were taken away from me.

That's why, I had to listen to every rule that Mother said.

Because my Mother, who was known by everyone in town, will always be right.

...But, you know, Mama...

I wonder why?

For some reason, my heart feels so heavy...

...I want to eat a lot of tarts even if it's only on my birthday.

I want to play outside a lot...

I want to make lots more friends.

...Please tell me, Mama... what rule should I follow to make this sadness disappear...?"

A dual-colored butterfly flew by. Young Riddle took notice of it. It was Black and White. He stared at it in wonder. It was a strange discovery yet... it felt familiar; a warm, gentle presence.

Young Riddle saw that it seemed to be carrying some sort of paper. It flew closer to him; as if telling him to take the piece of paper as he did just that. Gently taking it from the butterfly's hold, he soon flipped it to the other side of the paper. His eyes widened.

It was a Card.

The Queen of Hearts.

Tears started to roll down young Riddle's cheeks, unaware of it. He held back a sob as he clutched the card tightly on his chest; close to his heart.

How very precious.

He will treasure it for the rest of his life; never forgetting it.

The Card. ...The Butterfly.

3rd POV

"Yuu!"

Not a second after the ravenette had fainted, the people surrounding them started to worry. Noire assured them that he will be alright.

"No need to worry. He will be fine. He's just assisting Riddle regarding his past." Noire told them which made them confused.

"Riddle's past?" Trey asked. Noire nodded.
