Chapter 17!

We pull into Perry's Pizza Place fifteen minutes later and park next to Dan's bright red Ford Focus.

"Hallelujah, I thought I was going to die of starvation." I yell when Adam turns of the engine.  A deep throaty chuckle escapes his lips as he pulls open his car door.

"Don't move!" He demands as he proceeds to close it.

Um... okay? Demanding much?

I watch curiously from my position on the right-hand side of the car as he jogs around the front of his car and comes to a halt outside my door.  I stare at him in disbelief as he opens it and holds out his hand for me to take.

"Whoa." I blink "The great Adam Johnston knows how to be a gentleman." I tease yet surprise is still evident in my voice.

"Cupcake shut up and take my hand before I shut the door in your face!" He muses.

Chuckling, I gently shake my head and say "Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you the real Adam Johnston."

Adam looks at me with a mischievous glint in his eye, which causes my stomach to turn in delight and a stampede of butterflies to escape and ram into my stomach lining.

"The one and only baby!" He says cheekily, winking at me in the process.

DAMN he has a good wink.

I don't even remember taking his hand and walking through the entrance of Perry's because my mind is completely of in LA LA land replaying Adams beautifully crafted wink. God, the way his eyes crinkled underneath when he did it, was completely and utterly endearing.

Yes, I'm dreaming of crinkled skin. What are you going to do about it?

I feel a soft tug on my hand that is still connected to Adams and gentle turn my head to look at him.

"They're sitting over there, come on." He speaks gentle looking in the direction of his best friends.

I nod and let him pull me over to the table in the corner. When we reach it, Dan looks up and grins at us.

"Hey, we ordered a 10 inch meat feast and a 12 inch margarita so if you don't like them; you can leave or just not eat."  He said casually. This caused Tom to turn around in his chair. He rolled his eyes at his best friends words.

"Or you can just order something else. Dan you are such a priss." He mutters the last part under his breath.

A small giggle escapes my lips as I slide into the chair next to Adam. "I like both, so there is no need for me to leave or not eat."

"It's a good job as well." Adam mutters. "You nearly jumped out of the moving car when you saw the Perry's Pizza Place sign. It's fair to say you are quite psychotic when you're hungry." He muses, Humour clear in his voice.

I gasp in fake terror at Adams insult. "I am not psychotic; I am FAB-U-LOUS!" I exclaim, clicking my fingers in a zigzag pattern when pronouncing 'fabulous'.

Adam looks at me like I have grown another head and drags his eyes up and down my body in a judging manner.

"Mmnhhhhmmmm sure thing honey, sure thing." He replies in a bitchy voice.

In return, to his rather ghetto reply I give him my best death glare.

"Alright! alright! Calm down children. Is it me or are we back in kinder garden?" Dan muses cheekily to Tom.

Tom looks between us slowly scrutinising our every move. "We are definitely back in kinder garden Dan." He concludes by rubbing his fingers along his chin in a thinking pose.
