Chapter 3!

Seriously out of all the people in the world it had to be Mr I'm so awesome aka Adam living next door to me.

I watch as he scans his eyes up my legs, slowing down when he reaches my mid thigh were the dress lands. His brown eyes trail up my waist until they reach my cleavage, lingering there for a few moments. Finally his eyes connect with mine and lust is swimming around like a kid who just learnt to swim.

I feel every single drop of blood that can possible rush to the surface of my skin heat up my body. I look to the ground hoping that nobody noticed.

"Adam this is Susan, David, Max and-" Abbie was cut off before she could finish her sentence.

Lily, I know we meet today in school." Adam cuts in, giving me one of his infamous smirks. The tone of his voice makes it sound like we had a friendly conversation, which in reality was far from the truth.

Abbie eyes her son before they travel to me, she raises an eyebrow as if questioning the truth in his words.

"Unfortunately." I mutter to myself, however my mom hears me and rather forcefully digs me in the ribs using her elbow, which leaves me hissing as a sharp pain passes through the left side of my body. I glare daggers at my mom as she gives me the 'be nice or you'll be in trouble' look, which by now I receive a lot, but mostly during soccer games.

"Should we go into the dining room, my two other children Chase and Maddie are already in there." Abbie says as she leads us down the hallway to a door that is half open. Walking in I am instantly greeted by the smell of homemade pasta; of what sort I do not know, but what I do know is that it smells seriously delicious.

The room itself is almost identical to the one in my new house. There is a large table right in the centre of the room, with candles and purple themed table decorations.

Sitting in one of the chairs is a girl that looks to be about the same age as me, she has dark brown straight hair and the same chocolate coloured eyes as Adam and Abbie. She is wearing a light pink sun dress and is supporting the biggest smirk a girl like her could produce.

As soon as my eyes connect with hers, Maddie's smirk grows at least another inch. Wow I didn't even know that was humanly possible. However, I'm now starting to worry encase she is smirking at something I have done within the thirty second period of me stepping into this room.

Her eyes shift to behind me and she raises an eyebrow, still keeping that 'I know something you don't know' smirk on her face. I follow her line of sight until my eyes land upon Adams face, he is currently giving his sister a death glare that is until he feels me staring at his face and turns towards me. He must sense my confusion because he just shrugs and takes a seat next to Maddie.

I shift my gaze to across the room when I hear a wolf whistle. There sitting on Maddie's other side is a younger version of Adam, who looks to be about fifteen, looking me up and down. Really? Don't they start at a young age.

"I'm guessing this is your brother, chase?" I ask Adam with a raised eyebrow however before he can reply I continue "he is exactly like you."

A flicker of hurt flashes across Adams eyes but he quickly covers it up. He looks at me with a blank expression, not showing any emotion in his eyes or on his face. Why was Adam hurt by what I said, it's true and it's not like we know each other. There is no reason for him to be hurt.

Abbie clears her throat an gesture for us to sit down. Mom sits on the end, dad helps max get out of his wheelchair and he takes a seat in the middle. My dad then proceeds to take a seat at one of the heads leaving the other for Abbie to sit in. This means there is only one seat left for me which is on the other side of max however it also means I'm sitting opposite to Mr I'm so awesome!
