Chapter 5: Six Packs And Bikinis

Chapter 5!

The door bell rang, just as I was sliding into my jet black flip flops.

My outfit consisted of a multi coloured bikini, with fringe hanging from the front of the top and two tassels hanging from the sides of the bottoms. Covering my body was a white see through beach dress, which has a flower pattern in a thicker fabric printed onto it. My hair was down, lying just below my waist in its natural waves. Taking one last look in my floor length mirror, I grab my black sunglasses, slide them on top of my head, and make my way down the stairs to see who is standing behind the door.

Opening the door, I am meet by Laura and Emily. Laura is wearing a similar outfit to me, but Emily is dressed in a pair of black high waisted shorts and a white tank top. Both of their hairs have been pulled up into messy buns and they are supporting huge grins.

"Hey girls, come on in." I say in a happy voice as I move aside for them to enter. They both walk in and I close the door, following them into the living room.

"So, are the twins coming?" I ask, just realising that I don't actually know if they are coming or not.

"Yeah, they are on their way now." Laura replies, whist looking around my living room, examining everything.

Suddenly a thought occurs to me and I jump up realising that I have forgotten to invite Maddie to join us. Telling the girls that I'll be back in a minute, I race out the door and knock three times on the identical door next to mine. A few moments later, the door swings open to reveal Maddie.

"Oh hi Lily, what's up?" Maddie asks In a friendly tone, she looks me up and down and a smirk slowly forms on her face, it's the same one she was giving me at dinner yesterday.

What's up with that? She must know something I don't- in fact she knows a lot more than I do, giving what she does as a day job.

"Hey, I was just wondering if you wanna come hang at the beach with me and a couple of friends?" I raise an eyebrow while I say this, as I'm still trying to figure out what she's thinking about.

"Yeah sure that sounds awesome; I'll change now and meet you on the beach in five!" Maddie exclaims happily, the smirk has dissolved and has now been replaced with a happy grin.

"Alright, see you in a bit." I reply with my own grin forming on my face. I walk back to my house and enter back into the living room only to find the twins are also in the room.

"Hey, when did you guys get here?" I ask while gesturing for them to follow me towards the back door.

I opened the door and lead them down the wooden stairs that connect my house to the beach.

"We got here while you were talking to Adam's sister Maddie, is she joining us?" Luke asks excitedly. A slow, barely faint blush colours his cheeks when he mentions Maddie's name.

Somebody has the symptoms of a crush forming right here *insert girly squeal*. An evil smile forms on my face, I'm going to have so much fun with this.

"Yes Lukey Wukey, Maddie is coming, don'tcha worry!" I cooed while pinching his cheeks like an overly excited aunt who is seeing her nieces and nephews for the first time in three years.

This causes Luke's blush to become more prominent. However it changes into an even darker shade of red and his eyes widen a little when he glances behind me.

I drop my hands and Luke quickly averts his gaze to the ground as if he is embarrassed.

I already know who is standing behind me without having to turn around, however when I do turn my body, I am met by not only Maddie, but Adam and two of his extremely attractive friends.
