ON MONDAY MORNING, ANGEL GOT UP AND DID HER NORMAL ROUTINE BEFORE GOING TO SCHOOL.  She had a few free periods so she decided to spend them in the gymnasium helping the students make banners for whatever dance it was that they decided to host this time.

Angel walked over to where Missy was and dropped her stuff off before kneeling down and getting a paintbrush.

"Hey, Missy. Wow, it looks amazing." Angel said softly before giving the girl a small smile before dipping her brush in the blue paint and stroking it on the paper with small movements.

Angel found that if she could help someone else when she had the chance, it was really rewarding. Sometimes, other people just need someone to lean against and if she could be that person, Angel would do it in a heartbeat.

The basketball team were practicing for the game coming up, as well as the cheerleaders who were working on their formation for the upcoming pep rally.  Angel didn't really understand the hype behind all of these school events when they weren't really important to their grades.

Angel also noticed that Peter was there, snapping photos every once in a while and, for some reason, couldn't take her eyes off of him as she did so.

"Rejected!" She heard Flash's boisterous yell from a few feet away.

She was then disturbed from her trance when the paint bucket was knocked over, spilling paint all over the lettering and also Angel's clothes. Missy stood up with a frustrated  sigh as she called out Flash.

"You did that on purpose, Flash!" Missy yelled and Angel stood up to put a comforting hand on her shoulder, giving it a light squeeze.

"No, but I should've. You better watch your back." He threatened.

"For what? Your small dick?" Angel muttered louder than she thought she did because Flash turned back to her with an angry expression.

"What did you just say, Connors?" He challenged and Angel just clamped a hand over her mouth as a few students hollered at her comeback. "That's what I thought." He said before striding away.

Angel could not believe she had just said that. It was so out of character for her. Instead of focusing on the little confrontation, she decided to try and get this paint off of her before it dries.

"Hey." She heard from behind her and she turned around to see Peter kneeling down and picking up the knocked-over paint bucket. "All right?" He asked Missy and she just sighed and shrugged her shoulders before he turned to Angel who was biting her nails anxiously.

"I like what you did with the colour. It's trendy." He teases her and she rolls her eyes before swiping a bit of paint on his arm.

"Yeah, it really is. It's already spreading." She says sarcastically.

"I didn't think you had the guts to do that." Peter says referring to what she said earlier.

"Yeah, neither did I. It just came out of nowhere." Angel says as she continues to wipe her top and jeans. He was about to reply with another comment but before he could, he suddenly reaches over and catches the ball that was coming their way without even looking.
