THAT DAY AFTER SCHOOL, ANGEL WAS FEELING REALLY GOOD ABOUT HERSELF. She was finally starting to come out of her shell (though she had no intention to at the start) and it was all because of Peter Parker.

Within herself Angel found a new confidence whenever she was around the boy, and he made her feels things she has never felt before. Whenever he's near her, Angel's hands always get clammy and a faint blush rises to her cheeks whenever he smiles at her.

As she drives home from picking up Brady, he notices her smile and decided to tease her about it.

"Oooh, who's gotcha smiling like that?" He mockingly asked her which made her scoff.

"Yeah, okay, sure, someone is making me smile. Get lost." She laughs as she rolls her eyes.

"Is it Peter? Are you daydreaming about how you wish he'll kiss you passionately before taking you in his arms and running off into the sunset." Brady teases before making some obscene gestures of kissing.

"Oh you think that's funny, huh? Should I just get Gwen on the phone and tell her about your love letter that you wrote?" Angel throws back the piece of information that made the heat rise on her brother's cheeks.

"W-what? How do you know about that?" He stutters, flustered.

"Uh, because you left it out and I read it." Angel said. "Yeah, you didn't think about that, did ya?" She teased him and he sunk further into the seat.

They arrived home and they both collapsed in the seats next to each other.

"You ready to do some homework?" Angel asks as they get their stuff out.

"As I'll ever be." Brady replied and they started working.

A few hours later, Angel gave up and slammed her textbook shut.

"I'm gonna start making dinner. What do you want?" Angel asked her brother.

"Can you do that thing you do where you stuff chicken with mozzarella and like, wrap slices of ham around it?" He asks hopefully and Angel chuckles.

"Sure can, buddy." She says and she opens the fridge only to find out that they didn't have any mozzarella.

"Shit." She muttered under her breath.

"Ah! You swore! Dollar for me." Brady smugly says. Angel and Brady have a deal. Whenever she swears he gets a dollar, whenever he misbehaves, she gets a dollar. Angel reluctantly gave her brother a dollar and grabbed her coat.

"I'm going to the store to get some cheese. I'll lock the door, call me if you need anything." Angel says before walking out of the door and towards the store.

Now, Angel grew up in New York. She had been riding the subway at the young age of five. She had been given the talk about how dangerous the streets are at night, and if she ever found herself walking alone in the crime-filled streets of New York, then she was to have her phone on her at all times, and her keys in hand if she needed a form of self defence.
