Beginning Of July 1988

Karma sat with Vivian at the receptionist desk as they talked and ate lunch. For the past two weeks they've became well acquainted. It felt nice to have a home girl and not have Cherry jumping down her throat.

"Ok if you could sleep with any celebrity who would you sleep with ?" Vivian asked with a mouth full of food

"It could be a guy right ?" Karma asked and Vivian tilted her head

"You like both ?"

"Well of course , I had to have dick first before I knew if I liked the cat for real." Karma said as they started laughing. "But I would sleep with Ralph Tresvant."

"Really ?" Vivian asked shocked with a laugh

"Yess girl he could sing me out of my thong." Karma said as they shared a laugh

"Well your going to be famous soon maybe he could."

"I doubt I'll be famous."

"Girl I heard your voice , Your going to be famous and not just famous legendary." Vivian said making Karma smile. "You got to believe in yourself and if you don't I'll boost it for you. Plus your sexy as fuck everyone is going to be drawn to you."

"Awww thank you Vi." Karma said putting her head on Vivian shoulder

The phone rang and Vivian answered it with the standard greeting.

"Ruthless Records , Vivian speaking ?" Vivian said as she looked over at Karma as she shook her head. "I'm sorry Karma isn't in right now."

"Cherry ?" Karma whispered and Vivian nodded her head and soon hung up the phone. "I have to take pictures soon." Karma said with a sigh

"For what ?"

"My album cover. I've recorded like six songs and I need atleast 12 for the album and I should be done before August." Karma said. "Then we have the tour in September."

"Your going on tour really ?"

"Yup to promote the album and I'll be opening for them." Karma said as the phone rang again and Vivian answered
