As soon as Karma woke up she wished she didn't. She cried and screamed as she felt her child leave her body. It wasn't fair , The day she dreaded happened. Her baby was gone and she felt stuck.

All she did was cry as she kicked the doctors and nurses as they restrained her. Ralph heard the screams of his wife pleading for them to save her child.

Ralph stood over the trash can as he threw up as Bobby rubbed his back. Bobby knew the feeling all too well , He and Whitney went through something similar. Ralph also felt at fault.

Maybe if he didn't pray for a baby so much , Karma wouldn't have hid it from him. Maybe she wouldn't be fearing for her health. All he wanted was a little family but it was stripped away.

"I can't see her man." Ralph said as he cried as Bobby rubbed his back. "She probably hates me." He said as his voice cracked

"Listen to me Rizz , Out of everyone she needs you the most. Y'all are in this together." Bobby said to him patting his back as Ralph swished the mouth wash in his mouth

Ralph got up and walked into the room as Karma laid on her side. Her body was in pain and she finally gained consciousness. She was grateful to be alive but she felt bad knowing that Sakari had witnessed everything.

"Baby." Ralph said to Karma as she turned facing him as she looked at him sadly

"Can we just hold each other please ?" She asked as he crawled in the bed and put his arms around her. "You think I jinxed us ?"

"I think it's not our time and even though we learned in the worst way it'll be okay." Ralph said to her as they held each other. "We're young and we still got
time."

"It's just not fair." She said as she looked at him

"I know baby." He said softly as he wiped his tears. "I love you okay ?"

"I love you so much more. Please don't leave me." She said as teared up and he kissed her forehead

"I'm not going anywhere." He said to her as he held her tighter

Yella and Verna knocked on the door before they opened it and walked in. Yella gave the couple a hug before walking to Sakari. Verna looked at the couple and hugged Ralph before she kissed Karma's forehead.

"Mommy it's not fair." Karma said as she cried as Verna held her daughter. "I did everything right I swear."

"I know baby." Verna said to her rubbing her back as she looked at the men. "Can I have a few minutes with her please ?"

Ralph nodded and Yella put his arm around him while he held Sakari as they walked together.

"They took my baby out of me. I couldn't even hold him." Karma said as she looked at her mother. "I was getting my boy."

Verna felt horrible but she wanted to be her daughter's side no matter what happened. She already missed out on enough and she couldn't miss anything else.
