Few Days Later

Karma sat in the shopping cart as Yella pushed her around the store. They were getting snacks for a party that Eric was having and the two were confused on why they picked the most easily distracted people to go to get things.

"Yella they got my face in a magazine look." Karma said as she pointed at the newsstands as she looked at the picture for her awaiting album. "With singles One Night Only and Baby Come To Me the rising Ruthless star is sure to hit the charts with her album Karma coming out August 5th." Karma read as she smiled and flipped the page

"Look y'all are in it too." Karma said happily to Yella as he looked at the picture with a small smile. "We're about to superstars."

"I don't know if I said it yet but I'm really proud of you." He said looking at her. "You made a real big change with that lifestyle and you seem happier now and I'm really happy for you."

"Awww Yella." She said as she hugged him. "I'm proud of y'all too. We're definitely putting Compton on the map."

"Why that little girl keep staring at you ?" He asked as she looked seeing a little girl who just stared in Karma's face

"I don't know. Maybe I got beef with her mother." Karma said with a shrug as she stepped out the cart

"Mommy it is her." The little girl yelled tapping her mother before running over to Karma hugging her legs tightly almost making her fall down. "Your the girl on the radio and in my magazine."

"Oh my goodness I'm so sorry." The mother said frantically as she ran over to grab her daughter

"It's fine. What's your name sweetie ?" She asked the little girl bending down to her level

"My name is Diana. I love your songs , I heard you have more coming out in August." The little spoke with a big smile showing her two missing front teeth

"Yes I do , August 5th on my birthday." Karma said making Diana gasp loudly

"That's my birthday too. Wow we might be twins." Diana said with a big smile. "Can we take a picture and can you sign my magazine ?"

"Sure sweetie , Do you have a camera ?" She asked and her mother fished out her camera in her purse. Karma picked the little girl up putting her on hip before smiling for the camera

Karma put her down before grabbing the magazine and marker from her mom and signed it in cursive. Karma went into her bag and handed the little girl two crisps hundred bills as well.
