A Week Later

"Karma how are you feeling ?" Paparazzi asked Karma walked out the hospital with security and Yella and Eric by her side as she put her sunglasses over her eyes

"I'm doing much better thanks for all the well wishes."

It was a bunch of fans outside and Karma smiled and waved as they cheered her name. Security opened the door for her as she got in the car along with Eric and Yella. Karma waved out of the rooftop as she yelled to her fans that she loved them before sitting back down.

"Man my fans make everything so much better." Karma said with a big smile as took off her sunglasses

"How you feeling ?" Eric asked as she shrugged

"I feel good I'm not in much pain. It feels weird though." She said as she looked at her stomach

Although she wanted to go through the process of an abortion the way she lost her child was traumatic. Plus she wondered how would she be as a mother and if she would do a better job than her mom did.

"You staying with Yella right ?" Eric asked as she nodded her head

"Yeah but I have to go house shopping and find something else. Man all on the news people have been showing the house." Karma said with a shrug as they drove

"Shit is crazy." Yella said shaking his head as he looked at Karma who played with her Rubix cube

"Why are we at Ma's house ?" Karma asked referring to Kathie as they pulled up

"Just step out of the car." Eric said as she playfully rolled her eyes

As always he grabbed her hand and helped her out as she slowly walked with Yella holding her arm. Eric opened the door as Karma walked in first and she seen her name with a banner and instantly smiled.

"Surprise." Everyone yelled as Karma smiled big

It was Vivian , Pat , Kathie ,  Richard and even Verna. They hadn't spoken in since the beginning of the year when they had that big argument. She wasn't exactly happy to see her either but she'd keep it cordial for Kathie.

"Y'all are so sweet." Karma said as Kathie gave her a hug making sure not to hug Karma too tight

"I'm so glad your okay baby doll." Kathie said slightly tearing up as Karma smiled wiping her eyes.

"I'm fine Ma." Karma said as Verna's smile slightly vanished as Pat gave her friend a hug. "Hi Pat." She said as Pat wiped her own tears

"I missed you so much. You need anything let me know." Pat said as Karma nodded kissing her cheek

Verna walked up as Karma tensed up as she remembered their last encounter. Verna wrapped her arms around her daughter as Karma stood still.

"I'm so happy to see you baby." Verna said as she smiled

"Thanks Verna." She said dryly with a fake smile. "Thanks for accepting my award V." Karma said as she looked at her Grammy
