Karma looked in the mirror as she did her makeup. They rented out a big venue for her album release and her birthday party and the place was packed with people. Some were still outside trying to get in to see the rising star.
"Okay Mama , How do I look ?" Karma asked as she turned to her mother who sat in the chair and smiled looking at her daughter
Verna made sure she was present to support her daughter. They might've had their arguments but nothing was bigger then missing her daughters big day. Plus she was super proud of Karma for giving up her life style.
"Your outfit is very revealing." Verna said as she looked at Karma who crossed her arms which made her laugh. "But you look beautiful baby. You really outdid yourself."
"Mama don't cry." Karma said as she walked over to her teary eyed mother and hugged
"I can't believe my baby girl is growing up on me." Verna said. "Your 20 now." Verna said as she held Karma's face
"I'll always be your little girl though." Karma said as she hugged her mom
"I know , If I haven't said it enough just know I love you and I'm very proud of you and everything your doing." Verna said as tears streamed down her face. "I know I got on you a lot growing up but trust me I'm always looking out for you."
"I love you more mommy." Karma said as she heard a knock on the door and she went to open seeing Andre and Tyree
"Happy Birthday." They said as she gave them a hug
"Thanks Y'all." She said as Tyree handed her a bag. "I can open it now." She asked and nodded
She opened it seeing a little box and she opened the box seeing a heart locket that held a picture of the three siblings.
