Karma sat in the bathroom as tears streamed down her face as she looked at the new bruise that covered her beautiful chocolate face. Her hands were shaky as she tried her best to cover the bruise under her cheek. A loud knock on the door made her jump as she quickly wiped her tears before she opened the door to Suge.

"I'm getting ready to meet with Vivian." Karma lied as she looked at him. "We have to plan for the Grammys." 
"Ain't the Grammys in November ?" He asked as he looked over her 
"Yeah but I still need to prepare since I'm opening the show." Karma said to him as he nodded his head 
"You should cover that up." He said pointing to her bruise 
"I am." She said as he handed her a box. "What's this ?" She asked him 
"Open it." He said to her with a smile as she opened up the box showing a beautiful ring
"What's this for ?" She asked as he put it on her hand 
"It's my promise to never hurt you again." He said as he looked her in the eyes as he softly grabbed her face 
He smiled as he looked at her not because of her taking the gift but because of the bruise on her face. He felt her shaking as he hugged her , In a sick way he was proud to have Karma afraid of him and he liked to control her.
"You can't give me a ring an expect me to trust you." She said as he hugged her. 
"I'm sorry it's just you make me so mad sometimes." He said to her and she sighed 
"You say it like I deserve to get beat on." She said as she rolled her eyes letting him go 
"If you see yourself the way other men see you then you'd understand." He said as he looked her in eyes.
She huffed as he kissed her cheek and soon walked away leaving the house. She started putting on the foundation to cover the bruise. After she finished her makeup she looked in her closet trying to find an outfit for the evening. 
It was Eric's birthday and Yella invited her to the surprise party that he was throwing. She even had gotten him a gift. 
She fluffed her hair as she looked at herself in the mirror as she looked at herself. Although she looked gorgeous in her outfit she didn't feel the part. 
Suge had put a weight on her confidence he didn't make her beautiful like she should've felt. He always made comments on her body and her face.
Her outfit was gorgeous and so was she and she would be reminded tonight.
