Jennie immediately instructed Wang Bolin to proceed to the kim's mansion.

When she arrived, the servants immediately led her to her father's study. The moment she entered the room, CL immediately hug her like a concerned mother.

"Jenjen, how are you? We missed you. You should visit us often. nancy also wanted to see you." CL gushed over Jennie.

"You wanted to see me?" She directly asked her father without sparing CL another glace. She doesn't like women who act too much. They often get addicted to acting. Women like that irritate her.

Jennie badly wanted to tear off the elder woman's masked. However, she doesn't have enough evidence yet. They still haven't found out the identity of the person who owns the account abroad.

But she is already aware that CL is connected to both her mother's death and her car accident. CL sent an enormous amount of money to the account abroad, days before her mother's accident. Then, another huge amount of money was sent to the account days before her own Car accident.

She is sure that CL had an accomplice. But she doesn't want to strike without enough evidence. After all, someone who can hide from both Jennie and Wang Mino's investigation should not be an easy enemy. So, she is not planning to confront CL about it. At least not yet.

"Is that how you talk to your father? » Wonbin said. His expression is stony as anger started to boil in his system.

CL immediately sent him a glare. Trying to warn him not to say anything that he might regret.

Jennie just looked at her, then stared at her father again. Wonbin should not blame her for becoming like this. He clearly cheated on her mother. Why is he acting like she should give him any respect?

Respect is not something that you give to someone because of blood affiliation or age. It is something you earn. And her father surely didn't earn any of her respect.

Although Jennie did not have any respect for her father, she also does not blame him for the misfortunes in her previous life. After all, he didn't push her to do anything.

"I called to discuss your birthday five days after the National Exams. » he started. "You are already of age to handle all of your mother's properties. You should start going to the Kim Corporation and familiarize yourself with the business." He suggested.

"What did you say?" Wonbin erupted in a furious state.

"I said I'm not interested in your company. As for the shares, I can just get the annual dividends." She said nonchalantly.

Kim corporation is an insurance company that is well known in the southern part of the country. She knows that insurance companies are the most ruthless and Kim corp. is no different.

Jennie originally was not interested in the company, but she is still reluctant to part with her mother's shares. However, she knows what Wonbin and CL are trying to do.

Now that she will turn 18, Jennie is already of marriageable age. She is not dumb. she understood the purpose of this meeting. They are trying to set up an engagement for her.

This realization completely froze her heart. She heard from nancy and kai that they wanted to have the property deed for her mother. So, every scheme by the kim family is because of her inheritance.

Good thing she already handed it to her grandfather for safekeeping.

She originally thought that they would not provoke her once she avoids them, yet these people keep on provoking her over and over again.

"Are you trying to underestimate Kim Corporation? » wonbin hollered. "You- Do you still consider yourself as part of this family? You immediately left after your mother's death. Cut off all communication, then turned a blind eye to my wedding! You insulted your younger sister and even desired her lover! Look at how unfilial you are. You are just like your Mother!"

"My mother?" Jennie raised her brows as she looked at him. Her eyes narrowed and full of mockery, which made wonbin want to slap her. "Oh right! You mean the one that you cheated on?"

Her statement surprised both him and CL . She knew? Did she know all along?

"Who told you that?" Her father asked, while trying to calm himself. If Jennie knew of his betrayal, then does that mean that she also knew that he and CL were the culprit of her mother's death?

"Not important! But the only reason why I haven't told my grandfather is that I still consider you as my father, so don't play tricks with me!" She threatened. This confrontation is inevitable. Still, she didn't expect it to be too soon.

"So, you want revenge? Is that why you tried to steal your sister's lover? And now her future husband?" CL sneered as she dropped all the pretense of being a good mother.

"Future husband?" Jennie sneered. "Now, we both know that's not true, right?" She taunted CL.

"By law, I am your mother. You cannot talk to me like that, you ungrateful b*tch!" CL gibed while pointing her finger at her.

"Since you still consider me as your father, then listened to me. Marry kai . Your sister said that you like the man. Leave Young Master Manoban for your sister." wonbin suggested as he tried to calm CL down. This is not the right time to show Jennie her true colors.

"Hah. So, all this, is because of someone that does not even know you?" Jennie wanted to laugh. So, these people wanted her to marry someone because they are afraid Lisa might take a liking to her.

Isn't it a little too late? But of course, she won't let them know that.

CL paled when she heard Jennie. "What nonsense are you talking about? The manoban family will surely send a messenger in the next few days to acknowledge your sister."

"Yeah... keep believing that." She said. Then she made her way into the door.

"Where are you going? I am not done with you. Continue walking out of this room, and I will disown you!" She heard her father threaten.

wonbin originally thought that his threats will work on Jennie. After all, an unmarried girl disowned by her own family is like a black speck to her reputation.

However, Jennie continued walking without even turning her head.

"Then, goodbye father." she said before stepping out of the room. Her face booming with a smile.

'Goodbye kim Family. We will be enemies the next time we see each other.' She thought.
