CL became livid after Jennie left. But she tried her best to calm down so they can think of another plan.

"She- wonbin , what are we going to do now? That girl is so hateful. Always acting like she is above everyone. She even dared to look down on kim Corporation." CL grumbled after Jennie left.

"For now, we continue to ruin her reputation. Ask your daughter to perform well on the National exams. This will attract the attention of the Manoban family. I heard that the school will also have a presentation after the exam as a farewell and will raise some funds for charity. Have your cousin invite someone from the Manoban family as a guest. We have to make sure to make nancy shine that night." he answered after thinking things through.. He could not force Jennie to marry.

If Jennie will tell her grandfather about his affair with CL before Wang Rou's death, then it will be the end of the kim Corporation. He knows that Wang Guiren loved his daughter so much. He will surely destroy his company.

CL nodded. Her husband is right. The best thing they could do is avoid slighting Jennie for now. However, after sealing the engagement with the manoban family they can surely do whatever they want with her.

CL can't help but wonder why the manoban family haven't responded to those rumors yet. they're family is not doing anything to stop it so they must like the idea of this engagement.

What CL didn't know is that the Manoban family didn't try to stop it because they all know that those rumors are true.

The Young Master of the manoban Family will soon have an engagement with the Young Miss of the kim Family. However, this young miss is surely not the one in the rumors.

This young master is none other than lisa manoban . After Jennie rejected his marriage proposal, he immediately called his father to ask for his help.

His father laughed at his son and encourage him to do the things that Jennie love. Since she loves food, lisa decided to learn cooking. He also decided to make her favorite dessert.

According to his father, women will never reject a man who knows how to make good food. Especially her favorite food. His father also told him not to follow and pester Jennie. Or else she will lose her patience and hate him instead.

However, lisa decided against his father's second advice. If he will not follow her around, then how will he get rid of all the flies flying around her?

His father's third advice is to pamper her. Everyone loves to be pampered. So today, lisa decided to send Jennie a hundred purple tulips .

He knows how she loves this flower. He also included a dozen of her favorite chocolate made by the best gourmet chocolatier in the world.

And this scene is what welcomed Jennie when she arrived at the wang's estate. A bouquet of purple tulips and a box of her favorite chocolates. Her eyes curved as she smiled after she received the flowers.

Purple tulips are her favorite flower simply because they mean royalty. That is what she always thought from her past life. That she is like a royal. Always on top of everyone.

However, tulips also mean rebirth. They are usually one of the first few flowers to bloom in spring. This earned them the symbol of rebirth. For Jennie, this flower fits her perfectly after her reincarnation. She smelled the flowers and smiled to herself.

"I see you've taken a liking to his gifts." Her grandfather's voice interrupted her thoughts.

"Grandfather." She smiled at the old man walking towards her.

"That manoban is a peculiar young man. Until now, I don't understand why he would suddenly approach me when you clearly don't know him yet." Her grandfather let out a long sigh before he continued. "I thought he was just playing around. After all, most young men from influential families do that. But I realized I was wrong when I saw how he reacted at the hospital. He looked like a husband who lost his wife."

Wang Guiren originally thought that the manoban family wanted to have his granddaughter as lisa's wife because they want to have an alliance with the Wangs. He waited and waited for someone from the manoban Family to talk to him after their young master left.

But nobody came. Then he saw the young man act like a lost puppy during Jennie's accident. He can feel lisa's raging emotion all over the the hospital room.

He tried to calm the young man down but to no avail. lisa won't talk to anyone aside from occasionally scolding the doctor attending Jennie. He also didn't leave her side. and After she woke up and showed no signs of being close to lisa, Wang Guiren can't stop but wonder. This phenomenon puzzled him.

Lisa is an accomplished young man with very good family background. Everyone would want to associate themselves with him. However, his granddaughter clearly didn't recognize him.

If Jennie didn't know the man, then why would Lisa want to marry her? If it was because of jennie's background, then why would he react the way he reacted at the hospital? Anyone who would see him in that state will not believe that he is not in a close relationship with Jiang Yue.

This made Wang Guiren confuse. He can't seem to understand the young man's purpose in pursuing Jennie.

"We already met before. I just.... forgot about him." Jennie said. Her statement is not completely a lie. They did meet. Just not in this lifetime.

She wasn't about to tell her grandfather that lisa knew her from his dreams. That would be so crazy.

"So why did wonbin wanted to see you?" Her grandfather decided to change the topic. He is afraid he might say something that he is not allowed to say.

"He wanted to set up an engagement for me." She answered.

Wang Guiren's gaze turn cold after he heard Jennie's statement.

"But I did not agree." She continued. "So, he disowned me. Not that it matters to me." She shrugged.

"Impudent! How could he disown his own daughter? Did he know that it will damage your reputation?" Wang Guiren said. Anger apparent in his voice.

"Grandfather. Do not stress yourself. People like him is not worth it. I don't mind about my reputation. So, what if no one wants to marry me? I can just stay in the Wang mansion and take care of you." Jennie coaxed her grandfather. She really doesn't mind about the opinion of other people.

Her grandfather's gaze softens as he looked at his granddaughter. "You are right. Do not think about your despicable father anymore. You always have the Wang Family behind you. The national exams is days away. How is your preparation?" He inquired. Somehow, Wang Guiren understood Jennie's line of thoughts.

she is smart. And she does not want to concern herself with insignificant people. As long as his granddaughter is happy then he is content. However, this does not mean that he will let this pass and act like a bystander. He will not let that wonbin sleep for a while.

"All good. You should not worry about the National Exams grandfather. I am a genius just like you." Jennie smiled while teasing her grandfather.

Her grandfather dissolved into a puddle of laughter as he pats her head. "You are right. You are just like me."
