Chapter 185 - Seduce

As the minutes passed, Jennie's suspicion doubled.

Right now, they were riding towards JRJ Publishing and Jennie could not seem to shake off her dark thoughts.

"Hey, can you feel it?" She asked Lisa. "I feel like something is really wrong about all this."

He nodded before clenching his jaws and looking outside the car. Of course he felt it. His secretary would not call him if something was not really urgent.

"Can you tell me what exactly was the problem at JRJ Publishing?" she asked.

"Someone is claiming that we plagiarized a book that is about to be turned into a movie. Some investors heard the news first and called for an emergency meeting.."

"At one in the morning? That..." Jennie's words were interrupted by a call. She instantly answered the call when she saw that it was from Bai'Li.

"Did you find the source of the malware?" She directly asked.

"No. When I tried to trace it, another malware tried to hack into my firewall. I am still working on it now." Bai'Li answered.

"Did you get a signature?"

"Yes. I believe it is someone from the underworld. I am sending it to you now."

"Hmmm... got it. Is there anything else?"

"Yes... Young Master Wang called me just now asking me if I am available. They just discovered a malware in one of the Wang Group's software. He asked for my help." Bai'li words instantly made Jennie freeze.

Three problems in one night? What the heck was happening?

"What's wrong?" Lisa asked when he saw Jennie's dark expression.

"We are currently experiencing three problems in one night. »she answered.

"Three?"

"Wang Group." She clarified as she continued to type at her laptop. Then she dialed Wang Mino's number.

"What's wrong?" She directly asked when he picked up her call.

"There is a problem in the Wang Group... I am on my way there now."

"Don't go." Jennie said.

"What?"

"I said don't go. Go to JRJ Publishing. I will send you the address." she instantly cut the call and sent the address to Wang Minghua.

"What is happening?" Lisa asked.

"Someone wanted us to separate, giving us three problems at the same time." Jennie answered before typing some codes in her laptop. After calling her cousin, she was now certain that someone wanted them in three separate destinations tonight."The ones who attacked the Wang Group's software are the same ones who sent a malware to one of my games."

"You mean?"

"Yes. If I'm not wrong one of us should be the target. They are trying to flush us out and separate us three."

"But how did they know that you owned the RubyJane Corp?"

A sudden glint flashed in Jennie's eyes. "I am not sure yet. But less than ten people outside of RubyJane Corp know that I own it. As to who betrayed me... I believe we will find out soon."

And just like what Jennie suspected, there were no board members waiting for Lisa. Instead what welcomed them when they entered his office was the strong smell of aphrodisiac incense.

Both of them instantly covered their noses as they roamed their eyes around Lisa's office.

No one seemed to be here. Yet the door to his sleeping room was open.

The duo then made their way into the room and was shocked to see Lisa's secretary lying on the bed wearing nothing but some sexy lingerie.

"Miss Kim why... why are you here?" Yu Yan, Lisa's secretary paled when she saw Jennie enter lisa's office with him. She instantly covered her almost naked body. The people who paid her said that only Lisa would come. Then how come Jennie was here now?

"OUT!" Lisa bellowed before dragging Jennie outside.

Jennie was right! Someone wanted them to separate and he seemed to be the target of this scheme!

These people would pay the price for doing this to him!

Yu Yan instantly dressed as she started to tremble with fright. She had failed to seduce him. Her failure could only mean the death of her brother.

After dressing she instantly followed the couple out of Lisa's room. The scene in front of her made her tremble even more.

"WHOEVER LET THIS WOMAN IN WILL SUFFER WITH HER!" he raged while talking to someone on his phone. Then he turned towards her. "YOU! TELL ME EVERYTHING OR YOU WILL DISAPPEAR FROM THIS WORLD THIS INSTANT!"

"I... Mr Manoban... Miss Kim... Please forgive me... someone will kill my brother if I.. I would not do this..." Yu Yan started to sob before turning her gaze towards Jennie. Then she suddenly knelt in front of her. "Please don't kill me Miss kim... I do not have any intentions towards Mr. Manoban... I was just scared. They said they would kill my brother if I did not follow what they told me."

Yu Yan feared Jennie more than Lisa because she still remembered what she had did to the Wu Family. She feared that Jennie would do something really vicious towards her for attempting to seduce her man.
