The birthday party would start at exactly six in the evening.

Because of this, Jennie and Lisa started preparing early that afternoon as it was not only a birthday party, but also their engagement announcement that day.

"Sweet talker. I think you can sweet talk me into just about anything." she giggled. "Now, let go of me before you decide to ruin my dress."

Lisa just chuckled before letting her go to do her makeup. "I'll wait for you downstairs." He said before turning his back on her. Lisa does not want to stay with Jennie for too long. He does not want to end up late to his own grandfathers birthday.

After a couple of minutes, Jennie finally emerged from her room. She decided not to wear thick makeup for tonight.

She carefully walked down the stairs with her five inch high heeled shoes and smiled at Lisa and Wang Mino who was staring at her.

"Ready?" she asked. "Where are grandfather and uncle?"

"They will come in a little later with me." Wang Mino answered.

"Hmmm... Okay," Jennie nodded. Her grandfather and uncle were currently not in the estate. That was the reason why she was not able to tell them the news of her marriage.

"Let's go?" Lisa asked while giving her his hand.

In response, she put her hand on his and grinned. Her husband is really good looking right now. He was wearing an all-black dinner suit that made him look sexy and mysterious at the same time.

"Did I tell you that you are so good looking I sometimes drool while looking at you?" she mischievously asked.

"This is the eleventh time that you told me that." he answered.

"Ehem... did you two forget that I'm still here?" Wang Mino interrupted. This couple had been giving him dog food since they told him they were already married. "You better go now or else you will be late."

Wang Mino's words instantly made Jennie stifle a laugh. She actually forgot that he is still next to them. She should blame this to Lisa's good looks.

"Hmmm..." Lisa only nodded at Wang Minghua before dragging his woman away.

"So Honglie and Shuo Manoban are siblings?"

"Hmmm. »Lisa nodded.

"And she will attend this gathering after years of not showing herself to everyone?" Jennie asked again.

"Yes, my father just called me a while ago."

"And you did not find that suspicious?"

"Tell me about her personality." she said.

"I only met her twice so I'm not entirely sure. But she married someone that her father does not approve that's why she had to give up all of her inheritance from her father." he explained.

"That is kinda harsh."

"I know... some of the Lisa Family's relative had a strict policy against people with lower status than us. They would not want their children to marry one. That's why they usually arranged marriages to everyone."

"How about you? Did someone tried to arrange for your marriage as well?" she asked.

"No. My grandfather is not like that. He is the only one in the family who is against arranged marriage."

Jennie did not respond to Lisa's words. The Manoban Family is a little more complicated than she expected.

A family full of people who looks down on people based on their status? she wondered what else will the Manoban Family offer her.

"Are you nervous?" Lisa asked when he sensed her discomfort.
