The scene Reopens at the Shergill's Quarter -

Param had been called for some work by Batra Sir. So he hadn't come yet. Barkha had Changed into a Night Suit Salwar and had wrapped a Shawl around herself.
Since an Inspection was announced, Barkha had got to Work at night ltself. She hadn't even used the Ice Pack and her hand had Swollen multiple Times.

When Param arrived Barkha was out in the Veranda, with the Cordless in her hand, instructing the Nursing Assistant to complete with the work to do before she arrives at the hospital the next morning.

When Param had changed, he noticed that the Ice Pack had nearly melted, and Barkha was yet out, worrying about the inspection.
He was about to go and talk to Barkha, but apparently, some emergency had papped up in the MT so he had to change quick, into whichever Camouflage T - Shirt and Pant Set he could find and rush to the MT. Karan, Faizi and Sid had already reached the spot.
Barkha, Monami and Sanju, too, had been informed about such happening and hence, Sanju and Monami, had rushed to the MT.

Back to the Story:-

Later, When Param returned back, he saw that Barkha's hand had Swollen, she hadn't taken her Medicines or used the Ice Pack. Infact, he could see some stains of Tears on Barkha's Face.
Param wasn't able to sleep that night long. It was nearly 4 am in the morning, when Param was able to get some sleep. Param had tried to use the Ice Pack on Barkha's Hand, but Barkha's Hand was placed in such a position, that he couldn't use the Ice Pack effectively.

The next day, Barkha had woken up early and went off for her office. Partially because of Inspection, partially because she didn't wish to Face Param again. When Param woke up, he got pretty sure that Barkha had left already, with a Swollen Hand. He nodded his head in dissapointment and got ready himself too. (Note that the day was Sunday, so Param woke up late)
When Param went on to the round, he could see all work in full swing. The Hathiyars,Magazines and Ammunitions or let's say Guns in the language of Civilians, were being Checked. The Hathiyars were being Painted. The Charpayis were being Painted as and the Pattas were being Changed to fresh ones.
The Dhobi Shop was way over-loaded with clothes. The Bedsheets of Officers Avenue, The Curtains, the Bedsheets of Hospital Beds, the Sofa Covers, everything.
The SOs Mess, Barracks, Officer's Mess and especially the Colonel Office was being cleaned by the Sweeper Jawans. There were literally 3 Sweepers Announced. 2 of them made sure about the General Cleanliness in the Cantonment, the Offices, The Drill Shed and the Badminton/Lawn Tennis /Basketball Courts and the Football/Cricket Grounds. While 1 Sweeper cleaned the Mandir and the Officers Residences.
