I looked in the mirror and saw the bruise that I was left with from the previous night. In the background, I saw him by the window and staring at me.

"Oh dear Alice...do we see what happens when you don't follow orders?"

I turned and looked at him, too scared to speak. He began to walk towards me and I didn't move away. He lifted his hand to touch my bruised cheek and I flinched as he made contact with it.

He brushed across it gently, quickly moving his hand away once I showed signs of pain.

"Oh my darling Alice...what have I done to you...I've left a mark."

He pulled me into a hug and I closed my eyes, a tear rolling down my cheek. He knew what he was doing to me and he loved it.

"Alice dear. I have a decision you must make."

I looked up as I backed up slowly. I knew there was no point in trying to escape so I stayed where I was.

"You come with me to my house and stay there with me. You tell your family that you are moving away with your boyfriend. In return, I will never lay a finger on you again. Unless of course, you would like me to."

He winked and chuckled gently. I took in all the information and thought for a moment before speaking quietly.

"What if I say no?"

He shrugged and stepped in closer, the smile completely gone from his face.

"Well, then I kidnap you anyways and can do whatever I want. Obviously, the first choice is preferable, don't you agree?"

"Y-yes...okay, yes. I'll go with you. But, may we visit my sister to tell her? I'm all she has left..."

"Oh...well yes, of course. Whatever you want, darling."

He kissed my forehead and I flinched away, not knowing what he would do next.
