"Alice over here!"
"Why did you supply drugs?"
"What other extras were involved?"
As soon as I opened the door, all I saw was flash bulbs from cameras. They blinded me but I made my way through the crowds. I tried to keep my face shielded until I heard a voice I recognised.
"Alice, could you tell us what you thought of the mysterious stranger in the park?"
I looked up and surely enough, in the depths of the cameras was Luke. He began to run away from the crowds and I bolted past the lights until I caught up with him. He quickly turned to me, causing me to bump into his chest.
"Now now Alice, you don't need to hurt me."
I looked up and tried to back away to avoid embarrassment but he grabbed my arm and pulled me in until I was nose to nose with him. I stared up into his eyes and he looked into mine.
"Why are you here Luke?"
He sighed and let go of my arm. I backed away slightly but the warmth of him kept me close.
"You seemed stressed, I'm here to take you out for dinner."
I closed my eyes and sighed, gesturing back at the crowd that was slowly separating.
"If you hadn't noticed, I'm a bit busy trying to clear my name."
He walked towards me and I backed up slightly. He was different than before, he was more intimidating now. My back hit a wall and I put my hands up to stop him getting any closer. He simply took my arms and pushed them either side of me.
"I notice everything Alice. I notice the way you smell so sweet and how you really, really want me to kiss you right now."
My eyes widened and shot straight up to his own. He wasn't wrong but he was so...blunt about it. He seemed so violent.
"Wha-"
I was cut off by his lips crashing into mine and and moved into him. My lips parted slightly and he let my arms go and wrapped his own around my waist. I put my arms around his neck as he pulled me into him before moving away, leaving me dazed and confused.
"W-what was that?"
He smiled before lifting my chin up with a singular finger and whispering.
"That was how I want you to remember me when I leave."
Luke wrapped his arms around my waist again and I looked down. I couldn't face looking up at him because he was scaring me.
"Look. At. Me. Alice."
He growled out each word and my head snapped up to look at him.
"Who are you? You aren't the Luke I saw yesterday..."
Luke smiled and tightened his hold on me, causing me to gasp.
"I'm Luke. Yesterday was simply the chase and now...well, now I've finally caught my prey."
