Without a shadow of a doubt, I sprinted towards the front door but he knew my thoughts before I did and grabbed my shoulder, causing me to crash to the ground. I cried out in pain but he grabbed onto my hair and began to drag me into the main kitchen area.
"Agh! Get away from me, you fucking psycho!"
"Shut up or I'll make this even more painful."
I struggled to get away and as he pulled me up, I bit his hand. He let go and cussed at me while I tried to reach the door. He ran after me, rugby tackling me once he reached me and I fell to the ground. I heard a crack and felt an excruciating pain in my ribs but knew I had to continue fighting.
He flipped me over and smiled sadistically, his face merely inches from mine.
"Maybe if you were as feisty as this before, I'd keep you around for a bit longer."
He drove his knee into my stomach and I coughed, the force winding me. He jumped up and ran to the kitchen counter where a knife block sat. He took out a butchers knife and turned back to see me stood up.
He walked towards me and I backed up into the wall behind me. As he closed in, I knew there was no escape so I accepted my fate. He went nose to nose with me, the knife lowered to his side.
"Give me something to remember you by Alice. I like to have a key memory of each person."
I smashed my lips into his and he returned the passion. We both knew this was the end but if he wanted a memory, then I'd give him one.
I melted into him and he wrapped his free arm around me. We continued until I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I gasped, pushing him away as I realised what he had done.
When I looked down, I saw a knife in my stomach. The area around the wound was becoming red from the blood and I grabbed the knife. Ripping it out, I screamed in pain and dropped to my knees. My hands covered the wound as I looked up at Luke. He was smiling, enjoying the chaos he had laid out for his entertainment.
My vision became clouded and began to fade as I fell onto my back and I felt Luke's breath against my face. In my last moments, he kissed my forehead and simply whispered.
"Oh my darling Alice...what have I done to you...I've left a mark."
