Andre's POV

Ever since the doctor said it wouldn't be long before Tee would awake, I've kept AJ out of daycare and had my parents bring him to the hospital. He would walk in the room and go straight to her bed waiting on someone to lift him up so he could kiss her and lie on the bed beside her. I even framed his drawing of us and had it sitting on the nightstand by her bed. It was important to me that her family would be around when she woke up.

When Tee was finally awake, I was forever thankful. Everyone was in her room praising God for this moment. After spending some much needed time touching and kissing my wife, I went to the nursery to get the twins. Waiting for Tee to awake, I still hadn't named them because this was something we both would be a part of doing. As soon as I entered the room with our babies, Tee locked eyes on me. The biggest smile appeared on her face which made my heart jump for joy. Life as I know it right now couldn't be any better compared to where we were a few weeks ago.

The first few days after she awoke, she didn't talk much, but cried a lot. I did my best to comfort her. I knew she was struggling with the fact that the twins had to be taken and she was not a part of their birth. I had a heart to heart talk with her. I needed her to know that what happened wasn't her fault and we should be thankful that she and the twins survived. She must have thought about what I said and calmed down. I laid my head on her chest as she used her fingers to gently massage my scalp. It was the best I've felt in months.

After another week in the hospital, Tee and the twins were released. We finally were able to name them, Andrew Khalil and Tahlese Ranell. The perfect names for my perfect babies. I was a big ball of nerves because I'd be providing most of the care for the babies until Tee gained her strength. I never had to handle AJ on my own with the exception of feeding, burping and changing him at night.

My parents stayed with us for two weeks and were a big help. Doing everything times two was tiresome, but I loved every minute. My little princess had me wrapped around her finger. I'd heard some of my partners talk about how their perspective on life changed when they had girls. Now, I can relate.

Drew and Tahlese are now two months old and I already feel like they are growing too fast. Tahleea had me hire a photographer to capture some pictures of just our rugrats. The boys were dressed alike while my little princess' dress complimented their outfit perfectly. Tahleea has always been fashionable and great at putting our attire together to compliment one another.

I smiled as she was putting the finishing touch on Tahlese's hair. She has a head full of dark loose curly hair like her mama. As soon as she was done, I picked my baby girl up from Tee's arms. Tee watched me as I coo'd to my baby girl.

"Dre you have spoiled her. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle her when the season starts."

"I'm spoiling my princess like I spoil my queen."

I leaned down and kissed Tee on the lip. She grabbed my bottom lip between her teeth, licking her tongue across it. She was starting something she knew we wouldn't have time to finish. She let go and winked at me. As I stood up straight, still holding Tahlese in my arms, Tee got up from the bed and walked past me lightly brushing her hand across my manhood. She knows she's wrong for that, but I'll get her back. I'm going all in on that ass tonight.

Tahleea had made strides with getting stronger, but a few weeks ago, she started waking up from having bad dreams. She said she feels like she's reliving the accident. Since she's been home, she's never asked questions about the accident and she doesn't remember much of what happened. The only information that I've given her is that I was contacted after the accident and got to the scene before she was taken to the hospital. I pray that she never recalls the events of that day. I still feel guilty and probably won't ever get rid of that feeling. I almost lost my wife and babies that day. I know if Tee was to remember, she would leave me and I can't allow that to happen.

Today, Tee and I are sitting in the doctor's office for her last checkup. We're going to discuss the anxiety she feels and the nightmares she's having. It wasn't long before the nurse and doctor entered the room. He started checking Tee's range of motion. If he only knew that Tee has already been working out, he'd probably express his displeasure, but I always monitored her.

Once that test was completed, the doctor talked to Tee about her emotional state. She told him about the reoccurring nightmare as well as how she feels when put in different situations or thinking about certain things. The doctor told her that the dream was her mind going through the accident again. He prescribed medication for the panic attacks and told her to take it at night because it will also help her sleep. We had concerns about that because the twins still wake up in the night and Tee said she has to be alert, not groggy from the medication.

The doctor understood our concern and reassured us that the pill is a very low dosage. He also has released her to return to work a few days a week. I really had to have a serious talk with her because I know she'll go back full time. For now she'll work from home for a few days and go into the office two days a week so she can resume doing the presentations. All in all, Tee got a clean bill of health.

When we left the doctor's office, I took Tee to pick up her push gift. I bought a Cadillac Escalade a few months before she was due, but I had it customized and some modifications done, so it's just now ready to be picked up. I know she loved her little Honda. It did fit her, but now she's a mommy of three and needs something a little bigger.

We pulled up at the Cadillac dealership and parked in the customer space. Her SUV was on the showroom floor. The salesman met us as soon as I'd opened the passenger door to help Tee out of my truck.

"Mr. and Mrs. Hassan. How may I help you today?"

I told them that I was in the market to purchase an Escalade. Tee was looking around. I know she was looking for anything black on black. That's how she liked her cars. The salesman took us around to look at several Escalades on the lot, but nothing really piqued Tee's interest. She looked towards the showroom and asked if she could look at that one. The salesman told her that a man had already purchased it for his wife, but it would be ok to look at it, we just couldn't test drive it.

We entered the showroom and she walked around the vehicle. She told the salesman that whoever purchased the SUV had great taste, and she knew the wife would love it. I smiled continuing to walk behind her as she walked around the vehicle. Then she asked if she could look on the inside. This is when she should figure out that it's her SUV. Her initials are stitched in both of the front seats, with a sleek wood grain steering wheel, gear shift and dashboard. There's none other like it.

When she opened the door, her eyes almost popped out of their sockets. Still not noticing the seats, she praised the husband for the modifications of the SUV. The salesman asked her what she thought about it. Of course she said if it wasn't already purchased, it would be the one she'd want. The salesman excused himself long enough for me to talk to Tee. I wanted to know if there were any SUVs outside that she liked. She told me not since she's seen the one in the showroom.

A few minutes later, the salesman came back with two sets of keys.

"Well Mrs. Hassan, I have to say that your husband knows you very well."

Tee had a confused look on her face. The salesman then places the keys in her hand.

"Your husband has great taste and obviously knows what you like. This is yours."

Her mouth came open. At first she couldn't form words. She climbed up in the truck and that's when she noticed her initials in the seats.

"Oh my god! Dre! I love it babe!"

She got out of the SUV, and ran to me and jumped up in my arm showering me with kisses and thanking me. I kissed her back and whispered in her ear that she can really thank me later. She ducked her head in my chest hoping the salesman didn't hear what I just told her. When she finally looked up at me, her cheeks were red from embarrassment. I took the moment to laugh at my wife. Even though we have three children, she still has her moments of shyness when I mention sex. I'll never get enough of the laughter, joy, comfort and love that she gives me and I'll spend the rest of my life spoiling and loving her.
