Shark Attack

A megalodon was looming over them, looking to feast upon some fresh merfolk meat. This sixty feet long beast soon started giving chase. Kailua already had a head start so Amra, Rodrigo and Mac were only a couple feet away from the jaws of the massive shark. As they began swimming away, Amara and Rodrigo pulled out their spears. They both assumed a defensive position in front of the megalodon. Amara started casting ice bolts and ice balls at the shark but it seemed unfazed by any of them. They both figured out after that that they were better off swimming away until they could gain an advantageous position against the shark. They both started swimming away but after about ten seconds, Rodrigo stopped and faced the beast.

"Rodrigo! What are you doing?!" Amara shouted as she looked back and stopped.

"Get away from here!" Rodrigo shouted at her.

"You can't do it alone!" Amara said as she started swimming towards Rodrigo.

Mac was watching what was happening from a distance away. "Holy shit, do these two have a death wish or something?" He said to himself.

As Amara was approaching Rodrigo, the megalodon was getting closer and closer to them.

Rodrigo then looked back and saw Amara swimming towards him. "I said stay away!" he said as Amara approached him.

The shark was mere feet away from them to which Rodrigo responded by pushing Amara out of the way before blocking a bite from the shark with his spear.

"I can handle this! Save yourself!" Rodrigo said as she was struggling against the shark. He then managed to scratch the spear onto the side of the shark, nearly hitting its eye.

The shark recoiled a bit before going for another bite. Before Rodrigo could block the attack, however, the shark managed to sink its teeth into Rodrigo's shoulder. Rodrigo shouted in pain as he tried to use his spear on the shark to make it let go of him. Amara could only watch the sight in horror as she was recovering from Rodrigo pushing her away. The shark was shaking Rodrigo from side to side while still digging deeper into his flesh. The shark then tossed Rodrigo to the side and he was left bleeding heavily on the ocean floor. The shark then started swimming away from Rodrigo and was aiming for the young mermaid. As Amara was starting to swim away, the shark managed to bite her bikini top and rip it off of her. Amara, who was conscious about her body, now had her petite breasts exposed. She wasn't bothered by this, however, as she had much worse things to worry about at the moment.

Mac saw what was happening so he got in front of the shark as it was chasing Amara.

"Hey you, you stupid, fat fish! Come to me! I got more meat for you to feast upon," Mac said in hopes of distracting the shark.

Amara saw what Mac was doing so she swam faster, hoping to create a good amount of distance between them. The shark however, didn't seem to mind Mac as it just swam over him.

"Well shit, that didn't work," Mac said to himself as the shark passed him. It seemed as though the shark only had one target in mind. Amara.

Amara looked back and saw that the megalodon was gaining closer and closer to her. She thought there was no way she could fight it alone with just her spear so she decided to resort to some desperate measures. Even though she was capable of casting ice spells with no problem, the projectiles only ever reached a length or diameter of eight inches. She was going to need a much bigger ice ball in order to stop this megalodon in its tracks. As she put her spear back in its holster to prepare to cast the biggest spell she ever cast, the megalodon was getting closer and closer, with its jaws wide open and some green energy radiating from inside. She watched the shark intently as it approached her and she was forming an ice ball to her side. Time seemed to slow down as she kept putting in her all in order to create a larger and larger ice ball. The shark was getting closer and closer. Ten feet. Five feet. Two feet. Amara then casted the ice ball she had created and directed it towards the megalodon. She was panting heavily from the amount of energy casting that spell took out of her. Mac looked at the scene and was in awe. In front of Amara was the megalodon, now frozen in a giant ball of ice. Its jaws were still wide open but the green energy in its mouth disappeared. It looked as if it was preserved in the ice like the ancient creatures of earth that were preserved in the ice.
