Amara and Rodrigo just left the waters near Southeast Asia and they were about a day's away from the Indian kingdom. The swim was rather uneventful and the two of them barely had any conversations with each other along the way. Amara was seeing that Rodrigo was a lot more tense now. The fact that he almost died and she was in danger of nearly getting eaten probably explained his behavior. She also couldn't help but notice that along their journey, he seemed to be swimming closer to her as compared to earlier in their adventure. His behavior seems to be suggesting that he is starting to become overprotective of her. It also concerned her because as thankful as she was that he put his life on the line for her safety, she was also concerned for him, both mentally and physically. The trauma he experienced not just from seeing his family die but also seeing her in danger seems to be making him more unstable and prone to putting himself in danger. Now she figured that it would be best that they split up after the adventure is over so that he could focus on himself more.

NIght began to fall so they took camp within a coral reef off the coast of Singapore. Rodrigo fell asleep first and he was peacefully lying down on the seafloor. Amara, on the other hand, was sitting up but kept her distance from Rodrigo. She was admiring the corals and the fish that were taking shelter within them. She then looked down at her petite breasts and put a hand on them. The bikini top she had was one of her favorites but there was no getting it back now. In fact, she felt better and a lot more freedom now that she didn't have anything covering her up. Perhaps she was embracing her mermaid self more and that's why she wasn't bothered at all with the lack of modesty, she thought. She also felt more natural after she lost her bikini top when she was in the Pacific kingdom. Maybe it's due to her newly made connection with the ocean, or maybe it was due to the fact that she was now embracing mermaid tradition by being naked. Whatever the case may be, she didn't mind showing off her naked figure anymore. She then took her hand off her breasts and decided to make a call.

"Hey Em," Amara said.

"Oh hey, Amara. It's been a while. How's your adventure been?" Emily asked.

"It's been rather exciting so far, although we did encounter some things," Amara said.

"Such as?" Emily questioned.

"I managed to bring peace to two different people and I managed to freeze a giant megalodon," Amara replied.

"Woah, didn't know you could use magic like that and be a negotiator," Emily said.

"It took a while to learn but I got the hang of it," Amara said in a sadder tone.

"Is there anything wrong?" Emily asked out of concern when she noticed the shift in tone.

"Some creepy Texan merman almost got his way with me," Amara said.

Emily couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Oh my god, are you okay? Did he hurt you at all?"

"No, I wasn't hurt. Rodrigo came into the rescue before he could do anything with me, although I still sometimes get nightmares of that," Amara said.

"I can't imagine being in your position. It must have felt horrible to be in such a compromising position," Emily said.

"To be honest with you, I'm not sure what terrifies me more, the fact that I almost got taken advantage of or that Rodrigo brutally killed the guy," Amara said.

"He what?" Emily said in a shocked tone.

"Yeah, he came to save me and he brutally murdered him. It was almost as traumatizing to see as almost being held against my will by a creepy guy," Amara said.

"You know, I think you should probably stay away from Rodrigo. Who knows what he might do to you," Emily said with concern.

"So far he hasn't done anything to me but I fear I might get in the crossfire. His trauma seems to be making him do reckless things in order to protect me," Amara said.
