Part 3

(Ayush was going to office when he saw Shalu and stopped.)
Scene starts at the market area,
Shalu was going back home when she saw some boys eve teasing some girls.
Shalu came and asked them not do so.
Shalu: Agar aaj inn ladkiyon ki jagah tumhari behen hoti toh tumhe kaisa lagta? Ainda se aisa kuch bhi karne se pehle apni mummy aur beheno ke baare mein soch lena.
(If in place of these girls....there were your own sisters then how would you feel? From nowonwards before doing something like this just think about your mother and sisters.)
Out of three goons two goons agreed but one of the goon's ego got hurt so he pushed Shalu intentionally on the burning stove.
Shalu was about to fall but her hand was held by someone.
Shalu looked back and was a little bit shocked to see that person there. It was none other than Ayush.
The same goon who pushed Shalu went on the other side and threw a hot kadhai full of hot water on Shalu in anger.
Ayush saw that and saved Shalu. Ayush and Shalu rolled over each other. Shalu was safe under Ayush but the hot water spilled on Ayush's back.
Ayush closed his eyes in pain.
(Then the other two goons took the third one from there.)
Shalu and Ayush quickly stood up.
Shalu: Thank you for saving me.
Ayush: Your welcome.
Shalu: Thank you bola hain isiliye zyada hawaan mein urne ki zaroorat nahi hain samjhe?
(I have said thank you but don't take it in a wrong way.)
Ayush nodded.
Ayush went to the office.
(Shalu didn't noticed that the the hot water fell on Ayush's back )
Shalu came back home.
Scene shifts to the hotel,
(Ayush changed his clothes before entering.)
Rishi just finished his meeting when he saw Ayush entering the cabin.
Rishi: Arrey itni der se kyun aaya office?
(Why did you come so late?)
Ayush: Vo Rishi bhai main traffic mein fas gaya tha.
( Anna I was stuck in traffic.)
Ayush(in his mind): Agar maine Rishi bhai ko bata diya toh vo pata nahi iska kya matlab nikalenge......chup rehne mein hi bhalai hain.
( If I tell Rishi bhai the truth then I don't know what kind of meaning he will take out.....so it's better to lie.)
Rishi: Accha sun tujhe yaad aaya ki kal raat ko tu kaunse 'she' ki baat kar raha tha?
(Did you remember that yesterday whom were you talking about?)
Ayush: Haan....vo Rishi bhai...vo meri college ka ek friend tha jiski complain maine kar di thi aur usne kal bohot dino ke baad mujhe phone karke bola tha that he he still hates me. So nashe mein mere muh se 'he' ki jagah 'she' nikal gaya.
(Yes Rishi bhai....there was a friend in my college about whom I complained to the principal so yesterday after many years I hot his call and he told me that he still hates me. And yesterday as I was not in my senses so I spilled 'she'instead of 'she'.)
Rishi: Ooooo. Maine socha tha ki tu uss ladki se......
(Oooo....I thought that you love that girl.......)
Ayush: NAHI!! Main Shalu se pyaar kyun karunga bhala?
(No! Why will I love Shalu?)
Rishi: Lekin maine toh Shalu ka naam liya hi nahi.
(But I didn't take Shalu's name.)
Ayush(in mind): Fas gaya tu Ayush.
(I am trapped.)
Just then Ayush's P.A knocked on the door.
Ayush: Come In.
P.A: Ayush sir aapki meeting ka time ho gaya hain.
(Ayush sir it's time for your meeting. )
Ayush: Arrey haan main toh bhool hi gaya tha. Chalo.
(Oh yes I had forgot about that meeting. )
Ayush left with the P.A.
Rishi(in mind):Tu mujhse chahe kitna bhi chupa le Ayush lekin maine teri aankho mein saccha pyaar dekha hain Shalu ke liye. Aur jab tujhe Shalu ke kundali dosh ke baare mein pata chala tha na toh teri aankho mein maine ek dard dekha tha jo tu chaha kar bhi chupa nahi paya mujhse. Main tujhse yeh accept karwa ke hi rahunga ki tu Shalu se pyaar karta hain. Aur mujhe poora yakeen hain ki tere pyaar mein vo taqaat hain jo Shalu ke iss maha dosh ko bhi hara de. Bas saboot paane ki der hain.
( I know you are lying to me Ayush. But I know that you love Shalu immensely as I have seen it in your eyes. When you got to know about Shalu's horoscopic danger your eyes reflected a pain. I saw that and I will make you accept that you love Shalu. I believe that your love has that power which can save Shalu from the horoscopic danger. I am just waiting to get proof.)
Suddenly Rishi's phone rang. It was Lakshmi.
Rishi(on call): Hello my love.
Lakshmi(on call): Yeh love shove na tum kisi aur ko jaa kar bolna. Mujhe sirf tum yeh batao mein jo tumse poochu uska sach sach jawab doge?
(Don't call me love and all and tell me that if I ask you questions then will you answer it truly?)
Rishi(on call):Pehli baat toh yeh ki main sirf tumhe hi my love bolunga because you are true love of my life aur rahi baat sach bolne ki toh poocho tumhe jo poochna hain. Main sach sach hi bolunga.
(The first thing is that I will call you my love as you are the love of my life. And ask me whatever you want. I will answer it truly.)
Lakshmi( on call):Ok. Toh tum mujhe yeh batao ki kal tumne drink kiya tha?
(Ok. So tell me that did you drink yesterday?)
Rishi(on call):No Lakshmi I swear ki maine drink nahi kiya tha. Maine drink karna bohot pehle chod diya hain.

(Lie. You are lying to me because if you had left drinking then why is alcohol's smell coming from your clothes?)
Rishi(on call):Lakshmi I swear ki maine drink nahi kiya tha. Aur main bata ta hoon ki kya hua tha kal raat ko.
(Lakshmi I swear that I didn't drink last night. And I am telling you what happened yesterday.)
Rishi narrated everything to Lakshmi.
Lakshmi(on call): Tum kal mujhe sach bata kar bhi toh jaa sakte the na? Tumne firse mujhse jhooth bola hain Rishi aur iss baar main yeh sehen nahi karungi.
(You could have told me the truth yesterday only but you didn't. You again lied to me and I will not tolerate this.)
Saying this Lakshmi cuts the phone angrily.
Rishi: Hello! Hello Lakshmi.....cut kar diya yaar. Ab Lakshmi ko kaise manau? Haan raat ko uske liye Chole Kulche aur gulab jaamun le kar jaaata hoon. Ho sakta hain maan jaaye.
(She ended the call. How shall I make her mood right? Let me take chole Kulche and gulag jamun for her tonight.)
Scene shifts to Ayush's cabin.
Ayush was thinking about Shalu.
Ayush: Vo thik toh hogi na? Ek baar phone kar ke pooch loo? Nahi nahi agar usne phone nahi uthaya toh? Fir bhi ek baar kar leta hoon.
(She will be fine right? Let me ask her by calling. But what if she didn't pick up the call? But still let me call her.)
Ayush called on the landline number. Shalu picked up the call.
Ayush(on call): Hello tum thik toh ho na?
(Hello you are fine na?)
Shalu(angrily): Ab tak toh thik thi lekin iske baad ka nahi pata mujhe.
(I was fine till now but don't know whether I will stay further or not.)
Ayush(on call):Vo main isiliye pooch raha tha ki Lakshmi bhabi pooch rahi thi kyunki tumhara phone nahi lag raha tha.
(I was asking you because Lakshmi bhabi was asking and your phone was not reachable so......)
Shalu(on call):Bol dena dii ko ki main thik hoon aur main aaj kahi jaa rahi hoon kal dopahar tak laut aaungi.
(Tell dii that I am fine and I am going somewhere today.)
Ayush(on call):Kaha jaa rahi ho tum?
(Where are you going?)
Shalu(on call): Vo main tumhe bata na zaroori nahi samajhti. Main dii ko bata dungi.
(Why should I tell you? I will tell dii.)
Saying this Shalu cuts the phone.
Shalu: Pata nahi kya samajhta hain apne aap ko? Main kaha jaa rahi hoon yeh usse kyun bataun? Main dii ko bataungi.
(What does he think of himself? Why shall I tell him where I am going? I will inform dii.)
Shalu called Lakshmi: Hi dii main na chandni chowk jaa rahi hoon aaj aur kal dopahar tak laut aaungi.
(Dii today I am going to chandni chowk.)
Lakshmi (on call):Kis kaam se?
(For what?)
Shalu(on call):Vo preeti mili thi mujhe aaj toh usi se milne jaa rahi hoon.
(Today I met Preeti so I am going to meet her only.)
Lakshmi(on call):Accha sun sambhal kar jaana aur dhyaan se aana.
(Ok...take care and be safe.)
Shalu(on call):Ok dii. Bye.
Shalu cuts the call.
Shalu takes some money and one pair clothes and leaves after bidding Bani bye.
Scene shifts at night,
Shalu had reached Preeti's house.
(Preeti is Shalu's school friend and they met after 10 long years so she invited Shalu for a night stay and Shalu agreed.)
Rishi came home with Chole Kulche and gulab jamun. Lakshmi ate it happily.
Lakshmi: Iss baar toh main maan gayi lekin agar agli baar tumne jhooth bola na toh main tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karungi.
(This time I am forgiving you but don't lie to me next time or else I will not forgive you.)
Rishi: Ok meri jaan.
(Ok my love.)
Lakshmi shyed and Rishi smiled.
Suddenly both heard Pandit jii's voice from downstairs.
Lakshmi: Pandit jii iss wakt? Yaha?
(Pandit jii here? At this time?)
Rishi: Chalo dekhte hain.

Both come downstairs besides others. Ayush was also present there.

Pandit jii: Lekin iss baar tumhari behen ko bachana bohot mushkil hoga. Bas ek hi upaay hain.

Lakshmi: Kya Pandit jii?

Pandit jii: Uss ladke se tumhari behen ki shaadi jiske pyaar mein vo taqaat ho.

Pandit jii left.
Lakshmi started crying.
