Part 16

Next Morning,
Everyone was having breakfast when Nihar entered with Kavita and their daughter.
Nihar: Hello everybody.
Rishi: Arrey Nihar.............aa gaya tu?
(Nihar.....you came?)
Shalu looked up at Nihar and Kavita.
Neelam: Nihar.......Kavita andar aao na. Main tumhe milwati hoon sabse.
(Nihar.......Kavita please come in. Let me introduce you to all)
Neelam: Yeh hain meri bahu.......
(She is my daughter in law.)
Nihar: Lakshmi?
Neelam: Haan tumhe kaise pata?
(Yeah....how do you know her?)
Nihar: Main bhi usi gaon mein rehta tha jaha yeh thi. So we knew each other.
(I also stayed in her village. So we both knew each other.)
Neelam: Fir toh tum Shalu ko bhi jaante hi hoge?
(Then you shall also know Shalu?)
Nihar: Haan.....lekin vo yaha kaise?
(Yes......but how is she here?)
Neelam: Shalu hamare Ayush ki wife hain.
(Shalu is our Ayush's wife.)
Nihar: Oooo......
Lakshmi: Rishi tum isse kaise jaante ho?
( How do you know him Rishi?)
Rishi: Yeh mera partner hain. Yaha par apni anniversary celebrate karne aaya hain. Isiliye maine socha ki kyun na yeh yahi par rahe kuch din?
(He is my partner. He has come here on the occasion of his anniversary and to celebrate. So I thought why not to make them stay here?)
Shalu: Yeh yahi rahega?
(He will stay here only?)
Rishi: Haan.....kyun koi problem hain?
(Yes......why? Is there any problem?)
Shalu: Nahi.....main toh bas aise hi pooch rahi thi.
(No.....I was just asking. )
Rishi: Chal ab andar aa. Bhabi aaiye na.
(Now come inside. Please come bhabi.)
Kavita's daughter's name is Rohini.
Rohini(she is not speaking clearly):Main bhi andal aa jaaun?
(Shall I also come inside?)
Rishi took her in his arms.
Rishi: Chalo.....aapko main le kar chalta hoon. Mujhe ek kiss do.
( Let's go........I will take you to your room. Give me a kiss.)
Rohini kissed Rishi's cheek.
Rishi took trio to the guest room.
Shalu went to her room.
Ayush: Bhabi Shalu aise kyun chali gayi?
(Bhabi why did Shalu went like that?)
Lakshmi: Arrey zarasal Shalu issi Nihar se pyaar karti thi?
(Because he is the same Nihar whom Shalu loved.)
Ayush: Haan mujhe bhi laga toh tha.
(I also thought so.)
Lakshmi: Ab tum yaha khade kyun ho? Jao Shalu ke paas.
(Why are you standing here? Go to Shalu.)
Ayush nodded and left to his room.
Scene shifts to the guest room. Everyone was present there. Lakshmi came and closed the door.
Lakshmi: Rishi tumne Nihar ko bata diya ki kya karna hain?
(Rishi have you told to Nihar what to do?)
Rishi: Arrey haan bata diya hain.....tu samjha na?
(Yes.....I have.....but have you understood?)
Nihar: Haan jiju samajh gaya. Mujhe Shalu ke saath close rehne ka natak karna hain aur especially Ayush ke saamne.
(Yes jiju I got it. I will have to act to stay close to Shalu and especially infront of Ayush.)
Rishi: Exactly. Aur Kavita please thoda sa co-operate karna.
(And Kavita....please co-operate a little.)
Kavita: Don't worry jiju.....main Shalu ke itna toh kar hi sakti hoon. Ussi ke wajah se toh hum mile hain.
(Don't worry jiju.......I can do this little thing for Shalu. After all because of her only we both met.)
Rishi: Very good. Toh hamara plan kal se shuru hoga. Thik hain?
(Very good. So our plan will start from tomorrow. Ok?)
Kavita and Nihar: Thik hain.
(Ok.)
Scene shifts to Shayush's room,
Ayush came and saw Shalu sitting on the bed thinking something.
Ayush: Kya soch rahi ho Shalu? Nihar ke baare mein?
(What are you thinking Shalu? About Nihar?)
Shalu: Tumne dii se poocha tha na sab?
(You asked everything from dii right?)
Ayush nodded.
Shalu: Ab kyunki hum dono pati patni hain toh main tumse kuch nahi chupaungi. Toh main tumhe kuch bata rahi hoon. Isse acche se sunn na.
(Because we are husband wife now so I will not hide anything from you. I am saying something to you. Hear carefully. )
Ayush: Haan bolo.
(Yes say.)
Shalu: Zarasal pehle jab main Nihar ke baare mein sochti thi toh mujhe lagta tha ki main usse abhi bhi pyaar karti hoon lekin jab vo aaj mere saamne aaya na toh mujhe kuch mehsoos hi nahi hua. Matlab mere dil ne mujhse bola hi nahi ki tu usse pyaar karti hain. Mujhe vo bas ek normal insaan ke jaise hi laga. Toh iska yeh matlab hain ki maine usse bohot pehle hi apne dil se nikaal diya. In fact mujhe toh shaq ho raha hain ki main kabhi usse pyaar karti bhi thi ki nahi. Maine yahi sawaal apne dil se poocha aur mujhe iss baat par yakeen ho gaya ki maine kabhi usse pyaar kiya hi nahi tha. It was just an attraction.
( Whenever I used to think about Nihar I thought that I still love him means my heart said that I still love him but when he came in front of me....nothing bloomed in my heart means no feeling occured in my heart. My heart told me that he is not someone special. This made me realize that I never loved Nihar. He was just attraction.)
Ayush was overwhelmed with happiness after hearing this.
Ayush: Tum sach mein usse pyaar nahi karti?
(You really don't love him?)
Shalu: Arrey sacchi mein nahi karti. Aur naa hi kabhi karti thi.
(I really don't love him. Neither I lived nor I love.)
Ayush: Fir se bolo.....
(Please say again.)
Shalu repeated.......Ayush was so happy that he hugged Shalu suddenly and also kissed her cheek. Shalu was shocked due to the sudden kiss.
Ayush broke the hug after realizing what he did.
Ayush: Sorry.....sorry Shalu.....really sorry.
Saying this he ran out of the room.
Shalu placed her hand on her cheek where Ayush kissed and shyed.
Shalu(smiling): Jhalla kahi ka.........
(Crazy.......)
Ayush came to the guest room and heard everybody's plan.
Ayush (in mind): Mera parivaar kitna sochta hain mere liye. Chalo yeh jaa kar Shalu ko bata ta hoon lekin Shalu ko apne dil ki baat bolne ke baad.
(How much my family thinks about me.....cares for me. Let me tell this to Shalu bu first I will confess my feelings to her.)
Ayush: Shalu mujhe tumse kuch kehna hain. Please yeh sunn ne ke baad mujhe chod kar mat chali jaana.
(Shalu I want to say something to you. Please listen to me but please don't leave me after hearing this.)
Shalu: Thik hain bolo.
(Ok....say.)
Ayush went down on his knees and told that he loves her.
Shalu: What?
Ayush: Dekho Shalu tum mujh par gussa kar lo lekin please mujhe chod kar mat jaana. Tumhari jaan bachane ke liye mera tumhare saath rehna zaroori hain. Shalu please.
(Look Shalu you please burst your anger on me but don't leave me please because it's important for you to stay with me.)
Shalu: Ayush utho.
(Ayush stand up.)
Ayush stood up.
Shalu raised her hand.....Ayush closed his eyes mentally preparing himself to bear the slap she was about to give him.
Shalu pulled Ayush's cheek.
Shalu(laughing): Mujhe pata chal gaya tha ki tum mujhse pyaar karte ho.
(I understood that you love me.)
Saying this she pulled his cheeks.
Ayush: Lekin kaise?
(But how?)
Shalu: Tumhari care,tumhari concern dekh kar mujhe yakeen ho gaya ki tum mujhse pyaar karte ho. Aur vo bhi saccha pyaar. Lekin tum bolne se darr kyun rahe the?
(Your concern and care for me made me realize that you love me. That also True Love. But why were you scared to tell this?)
Ayush: Vo mujhe laga ki tum mujhe chod dogi agar maine tumhe bataya toh.
(I thought that you will leave me if I confessed my feelings to you.)
Shalu hits him slightly on his head.
Shalu: Jhalle ho tum.
(You are mad.)
Shalu chuckles.
Shalu: Actually main bhi hamari shaadi ko ek mauka dena chahti hoon. Tum mujhe pasand ho lekin main tumse pyaar karti hoon ya nahi yeh sochne ke liye mujhe time chahiye.
(Actually I also want to give our marriage a chance. I like you but I am confused about the feeling that I love you or not. So I need sometime.)
Ayush: Haan haan le lo. Lekin hamara parivaar kuch plan kar raha hain.....
(Yes yes sure.....you take your time. But our family is planning something tor us.)
Shalu: Kya?
(What?)
Ayush narrated her everything.
Shalu: Unhe batana mat ki humein sab pata hain. Chalne do iss natak ko. Hum bhi unhe surprise denge. 1 week baad.
(We will not let them to know that we know   the truth. Let this drama go on for sometime. We will also give them surprise. 1 week later.)
Ayush: Ok.
The next day,
Everyone started their plan. Nihar was flirting with Shalu. Aysuh was really feeling jealous. He knew that it was just an act but still.
Shalu noticed this and consoled Ayush.
This continued for one week. Karishma tried to poison Ayush's mind but he had strong trust on Shalu.
1 week later,
Shalu: Ab wakt aa gaya hain sabko sach batane ka.
(Its time to tell truth to everyone.)
Ayush: Hmm....lekin kaise?
(Hmmm....but how?)
Shalu: Hum dono ek party rakhte hain. Mummy jii ka birthday bhi toh aa raha hain  na? Ussi khushi mein.
(Let's throw a party on the occasion of mother in law's birthday.)
Ayush: Very good idea.
They both hified.
