Part 6

Shalu was lying on the bed with her body's burning temperature.
Shalu was thinking of how Karishma insulted her just half an hour ago. She didn't do any mistake but still she was blamed.
Everyone was in their rooms as everyone was very tired and were thinking that what Karishma did was totally wrong whereas  Rishi was waiting for Ayush in the hall itself. Ayush had to attend an important meeting so he stayed back long in the office.
Ayush came home nearly at 10pm.
Rishi rushed to him.
Ayush: Rishi bhai sab thik hain na? Aap itne worried kyun lag rahe ho?
(Rishi bhai is everything is everything fine? Why are you looking so worried?)
Rishi: Kuch thik nahi hain Ayush. Vo Shalu....
(Nothing is fine Ayush. Shalu........)
Ayush(worried): Kya hua Shalu ko?
(What happened to Shalu?)
Rishi: Aaj Shalu ki Karishma bua ne sabke saamne bohot insult ki aur toh aur uske parvaarish par bhi sawaal uthaya. Just because she got married to you.
(Today Karishma bus insulted Shalu infront of everyone even raised questions on her upbringing. Just because she got married to you.)
Ayush: Kaha hain Shalu?
(Where is Shalu?)
Rishi: Gayi hain tere room mein. Tu jaa aur usko sambhaal.
(She has gone to your room. You go and comfort her.)
Ayush rushed to his room.
Ayush saw Shalu lying on the bed looking at the ceiling. Tears are flowing down her eyes.
Ayush closed the door.
Ayush(in a weak voice): Shalu....
Shalu stood up and slapped Ayush hard.
Shalu(crying): Kyun? Kyun ki tumne mujhse shaadi?
(Why? Why did you married me? )
Ayush: Vo tumhara kundali dosh.....
(Shalu your horoscopic problem........)
Shalu(crying): Mera kundali dosh hain na? Main sambhal leti. Aur agar nahi sambhal paati toh zyada se zyada kya hota? Main mar jaati lekin kabhi iss tarah koi meri parvarish par sawaal toh nahi utha ta. Nahi rehna mujhe aisi jagah jaha par meri parvarish, mere parivaar par sawaal uthaya Jae. Nahi rehna mujhe aisi jagah jaha meri dii ki insult ho aur vo bhi meri wajah se. Nahi rehna mujhe....na..hi...rehna
(It's my horoscopic problem right? I would have managed and what would happen if I could not manage it? I would die right but no one would have questioned my upbringing like this. Saying this Shalu fainted.
Ayush: Shalu! Shalu utho please. Please......
(Shalu! Shalu please get up............please......)
Ayush patted her cheek and felt that her body's temperature is high.
Ayush lied her properly on the bed and checked her temperature with the thermometer. It was 104°F.
Ayush: Isse toh bohot tez bukhaar hain. Doctor se pooch kar isse yeh dawai khila deta hoon.
(She is having high fever. Let me ask doctor and give her medicines.)
(Ayush already had a tablet for fever in his medicine's box)
Ayush confirmed that he shall give the medicine to Shalu and also to put wet towel on her forehead.
Ayush made Shalu gulp the medicine in an unconscious state. He then cared for Shalu the whole night. He on the floor in a sitting position beside Shalu as she was holding his hand in an unconscious state.
Next Morning,
Shalu woke up and saw Ayush sleeping on the floor by holding her hand.
Shalu removed her hand from Ayush's to which his sleep broke.
Shalu started moving down from the bed.
Ayush: Shalu kaha jaa rahi ho?
(Shalu where are you going?)
Shalu: Niche jaa rahi hoon.
(I am going downstairs. )
Ayush: Tum please rest karo. Tumhe niche jaane ki zaroorat nahi hain. Main tumhara breakfast yahi le kar aata hoon.
(You please rest. You don't need to go downstairs. I will bring your breakfast here only.)
Shalu: Nahi, vo mujhe dii se milna hain.
(No, I want to meet dii.)
Ayush: Ruko tum main bhabhi ko bula kar lata hoon. Please.....
(Shalu you please wait here. I will bring her.........please.......)
Shalu: Thik hain. Accha mujhe ek baat batao tum niche kyun soye hue the aur vo bhi mera haath pakad kar?
(Ok.......just tell me why were you sleeping by holding my hand? )
Ayush: Vo kal tumne neend mein mera haath pakad liya tha aur agar main hilta toh tumhari neend toot jaati. Isiliye. Sorry.

Shalu: Iss baat ke liye main sorry.
(I am sorry for this.)
Ayush: Nahi iss baat ke liye sirf nahi balki kal mom ne tumhe jo kuch bhi bola uske liye. Really sorry Shalu ki tumhe yeh sab jhelna pada.
(No not only for that but also for yesterday's incident. I am really sorry that you had to bear all this.)
Shalu: Its ok.
Ayush: Main aata hoon.
(I am coming.)
Shalu: Accha suno. Tumne kal raat ko khana khaya?
(Listen......did you have your dinner last night?)
Ayush nodded in no.
Shalu: Toh breakfast upar laane ki zaroorat nahi hain sab ke saath niche baith kar khayenge. Jaldi se ready ho jao.
(There is no need to bring my breakfast up.....we will have with everyone. Get ready quickly. )
Ayush smiled.
Shalu: Koi galat matlab mat nikal na iska. Main yeh sirf isliye kar rahi hoon ki agar tumhe kuch ho gaya toh pata nahi Karishma aunty kya kya sunaengi mujhe.
(Don't take out any wrong meaning if this. I am telling you this beacuse I don't know what Karishma aunty will say after listening to your offer.)
Ayush: Ok. Main aya abhi ready ho kar.
(Ok. I am coming after getting ready.)
Ayush went to the bathroom and quickly came out after taking a bath.
He got ready and came down.
Shalu prepared everything. Shalu served him the breakfast.
Ayush: Arrey waah! Aloo ke parathe with white butter? Thank you bhabi.
(Wow! Potato stuffed chapati with white butter? Thank you bhabi.)
Lakshmi: Yeh maine nahi banaye hain.
(I have not prepared it.)
Ayush: Toh fir?
(Then?)
Lakshmi: Shalu ne banaya hain.
Shalu has made.)
Ayush ate and loved it. They were delicious.
Ayush: Bohot acche bane hain Shalu.
Shalu: Thank you.
Rishi: Chal Ayush.

Ayush: Kaha?
(Where?)
Rishi: Office.
Ayush: Kaunse office?

Rishi: Arrey gadhe hamare office.

Rishi looks at Ayush and thought to tease him as when he fell in love he teased him all the time.

Ayush was lost in his thoughts.

Rishi: Kisi ki yaad aa rahi hain?

Rishi stops the car and Ayush came out of his thought with a jerk.
Rishi: Tu Shalu se beintehaan mohobbat karta hain?

Rishi: Tu kya bol raha hain? Maine tujhse poocha ki tu kisi se pyaar karta hain toh tu ne bola ki nahi tu beintehaan mohobbat karta hain aur fir maine poocha Shalu se toh tu ne haan bola.

Ayush: Aapko koi galat fehmi huyi hain.

Rishi: Kya galat fehmi? Maine apne kaano se suna hain.

Ayush: Vo main zarasal kuch aur soch raha tha isiliye muh se yeh nikal gaya.
(I was thinking of something else so I spilled anything.)
Rishi: Accha?

Ayush: Haan. Aap chalo na office.
(Yes.......you please drive to the office.)
Rishi started his car and reached office.
Rishi: Tu jaa main car park karke aata hoon.
(You go.....I am coming after parking the car. )
Ayush: Ok.
Rishi(to himself): Aaj toh Ayush ki dil ki baat uski zubaan par aa hi gaya tha. Lekin usne fir se baat palat di. Tu kehta hain na Ayush ki main bohot ziddi hoon? Toh ab main teri dil ki baat zubaan par laa kar hi rahunga. Yeh Rishi Oberoi ki zidd hain.
