His Painful Love (Completed)

Part 5

In my story Karishma is a widow. Ayush's father died when he was just 16 years old.
Scene starts on the terrace,
Ayush was sitting on the terrace looking at a star.
'I HATE YOU', these were the only words ringing in his ears. These were the three most painful words that can break a person  and if these three words are told to someone by their loved ones, it pains but when these three words are heard by a person whom the person loves immensely, the pain becomes unbearable to keep it inside.
Ayush was suffering from that unbearable pain at this point of time. Tears are flowing down his eyes continously.
Ayush wipes his tears and went to the railings looking at a star.
Ayush (teary eyed): Aaj na aapki ek baat yaad aa rahi hain dad,ki jab koi apna dard deta hain na toh bohot dard hota hain lekin jab aap kisi se beintehaan mohobbat karo aur vo aapse nafrat kare na toh vo dard aapse bardaasht nahi hoti. Aaj aapki bahu ne mujhse kaha ki vo mujhse bohot nafrat karti hain aur kabhi iss shaadi ko nahi maanegi. Jaante hain dad jab Shalu ne yeh baat bola na toh mujhe dil mein bohot dard hua aur ab toh aur bhi dard ho raha hain dil mein. Lekin aap kehte the na dad ki pyaar ki taqaat nafrat ki taqaat se zyada hoti hain? Toh main apne issi pyaar ke taqaat se hamesha Shalu ki raksha karunga bhale hi vo mujhse kitna bhi nafrat kyun na kar le. Main usse hamesha beintehaan mohobbat karunga. I love her beyond measures dad.
(Today I am remembered one of your teachings in life that when a person hates you....the heart pains but when you are hated by the person whom you love.....the pain becomes unbearable to keep it inside. But dad you used to say right that the power of love is superior than the power of hatred right? With my this power of love I will always protect Shalu no matter how much Shalu hates me. I will always love her to the core. I love her beyond measures dad.)
Ayush: Bohot baatein ho gayi. Chaliye Good Night Dad.
(Spoke a lot for today. Good Night Dad.)
Saying this Ayush went back to his room. He saw Shalu sleeping on the couch. He picked her up and made her lie on the bed comfortably.
He then slept on the couch.
Next Morning,
Ayush woke up at 9am. He didn't found Shalu in the room. He didn't find her in the washroom also.
Ayush: Shalu ne shayad pehle hi naha liya hoga. Main bhi naha leta hoon aur fir uske baad niche jaaunga.
(I think Shalu has already taken a bath. Let me also take a bath then I will go down.)
Saying this Ayush removed his T-shirt and wrapped a towel around his waist.
Ayush forgot to lock the door. Just then Shalu enters into the washroom and sees Ayush's naked body, turns back.
Shalu: Tum lock laga kar nahi naha sakte?
(You cannot bath after locking the door?)
Ayush: Tum bhi toh knock karke aa sakti ho.
(You can also come after knocking right?)
Saying this Ayush hid himself behind the curtains.
Shalu: Arrey jab darwaaza kula tha toh maine socha ki tum nahi hoge andar. Mujhe kya pata tha ki tum aise naha rahe hoge andar.
(As the door was open so I thought that you will be not inside. How could I know that you would be bathing inside without locking the door?)
Ayush: Normal log aise hi nahate hain.
(Normal people baths like this only.)
Shalu: Normal log sirf apne kapde utaar ke nahate hain lekin tum toh kapde utaar kar bina lock kiye nahate ho.
(Normal people just just open their clothes and bath but you bath without locking the door.)
Ayush: Accha meri maa maan liya ki meri galti hain lekin tum please bahar jao.
(Ok my mother......I accept that it's my fault. Now please go out.)
Shalu: Haan haan jaa rahi hoon. Mujhe bhi koi shauk nahi hain yaha par rehne ka.
(Yes yes I am going.......I also don't want to stay here.)
Saying this Shalu was leaving but her leg slipped and was about to fall when Ayush held her by her waist.
Accidentally the shower got started by Shalu's hand while falling.
They both had an eye lock.
Ayush made her stand and Shalu left.
After sometime both came downstairs.
Neelam: shalu aaj tumhari pehli rasoi hain. Tum kuch meetha bana do.
(Shalu today is your first day in the kitchen after marriage so please prepare something sweet for everyone. )
Shalu nodded in agreement and made kheer.
Everyone praised Shalu except for Ayush.
Rishi(in mind): Kuch toh baat hain. Itni acchi kheer kha ke bhi isne kuch kaha kyun nahi?
(Something is fishy. Why did Ayush didn't say anything after eating such a delicious kheer.)
Rishi: Ayush tujhe kheer acchi nahi lagi?
(Ayush didn't you liked the kheer?)
Ayush: Nahi. Mujhe bohot acchi lagi.
(No. I liked it very much.)
Rishi(in mind): Bohot acchi toh lagni hi thi, aakhir yeh uss insaan ne banaya hain jisse tu saccha pyaar karta hain Ayush. Aur bohot jald main tere muh se yeh bulva kar rahunga ki tu Shalu se pyaar karta hain.
(You must have liked it as it has been prepared by the person whom you love to the core and I will make you confess that you love Shalu very soon.)
Lakshmi: Rishi!
Rishi: Haan........
(Yes.....)
Lakshmi: Kya soch rahe ho?
(What are you thinking?)
Rishi: Nahi kuch nahi. Chal Ayush office chalte hain.
(No nothing. Let's go to office Ayush.)
Ayush: Haan bhai chalo.
(Yes let's go.)
They both left.
Hotel,
Ayush was sitting in his cabin and thinking about Shalu's confrontation against him yesterday night. How her anger besides hatred bursted on him.
Suddenly a message strikes in his phone.
It was Shalu's message.
Shalu's message,
Khane mein kya khaoage? Main isiliye pooch rahi hoon kyun ki dii ne mujhse bola poochne ko. Koi galat matlab mat nikalna.
Aur jaldi bolo.
(What will you have in lunch? I am asking beacuse akka asked me to do so. Don't take out any wrong meaning of this.)
Message ends.
Ayush smiled.
Ayush: Chalo, bhabi ke bolne par hi sahi lekin mujhse poocha toh sahi Shalu ne.
(She asked me after Bhabi's order though.)
He messaged her.
Scene shifts to Oberoi Mansion, at night nearly 8 pm.
Karishma came back and the first person she saw was Shalu with vermilion in her maang and chuda in her hands.
Karishma: Sudeep yeh bags andar le ar jao.
(Sudeep take these bags inside.)
Sudeep: Ok mam.
Karishma: Aur suno,  yeh Shalu ki shaadi kis se huyi?
(And whom has Shalu got married to?)
Sudeep: Ayush bhaiya se.
(To Ayush anna.)
Karishma: What?
Sudeep: Haan madam. Parson hi huyi hain. Yeh aapki bahu hain.
(Yes madam......they have got married two days ago only. She is your daughter in law.)
Karishma: Bhau my foot.
(Daughter in law my foot.)
Karishma went to Shalu and slapped her.
Karishma: How dare you? Himmat bhi kaise hui tumhari mere bete se shaadi karne ki?
(How dare you? How dare you to marry my son?)
Shalu: Maine aapke bete se shaadi nahi ki hain apni marzi se. Usne ki hain. Mujhe toh pata bhi nahi tha ki meri shaadi ho rahi hain.
(I have not married your son willingly. He has only married me. I even didn't knew that I am getting married.)
Karishma: Don't utter nonsense. Mera beta kabhi tumse shaadi nahi karega apne aap. Zaroor tumne hi usse fasaya hain.
(Don't utter nonsense. My son will never marry you willingly. I am sure that you have only trapped him.)
Everyone came hearing Karishma's voice.
Dadi : Karishma meri baat sun.....
(Karishma listen to me.)
Karishma: No mom I don't want to hear anything. Main tumhe iss ghar mein ek pal ke liye bhi nahi rehne doongi.
(No mom I don't want to her anything. I will not let you stay in this house even for a moment.)
Saying this Karishma dragged Shalu and threw her out.
Lakshmi tried to stop Karishma but failed.
Shalu lost her balance and was about to hit a wall but Ayush saved her on time.
Ayush: Mom! Yeh aap kya kar rahi hain?
(Mom! What are you doing?)
Karishma: Main jaanti hoon ki iss ladki ne tumhe fasaya hain.
(I know that this girl has trapped you.)
Ayush: No mom aap galat samajh rahi hain. Maine Shalu se shaadi apni marzi se ki hain  kyunki......
(No mom you are thinking wrong. I have married Shalu with my own wish because........)
He narrated everything but ofcourse with the lie.
Karishma: I don't care about all that. Main iss ladki ko ek pal bhi yaha par nahi rehne doongi.
(I don't care about all that. I will not let this girl stay in this house even for a moment.)
Karishma tried to throw Shalu out of the house but Ayush stopped her.
Ayush(angrily):Mom aap Shalu ko aise ghar se bahar nahi nikal sakti. We are legally married. Aur aaj ke baad agar aapne Shalu ko iss ghar se bahar nikaal ne ki koshish ki toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga.
(Mom you cannot throw Shalu out of this house like this. We both are legally married and if you ever try to throw Shalu out of this house then you will see the worst of me.)
Saying this Ayush held Shalu's hand and went to his room with Shalu.
Shalu didn't protest.
Karishma (smirking)(in mind): Main iss do kauri ki ladki ko Ayush ki zindagi se bahar nikaal kar hi rahungi. Chahe uske liye mujhe kuch bhi kyun na karna pade.
(I will throw this middle class girl out of this house. I will do anything for that.)
