Ember's pov
I finally get Marie to come walk with me and Luna. "Why do you always want to go in the woods. Don't you remember what your father said to you. " Marie said. "Yes. And you can't tell me what to do you ain't my mama. " I said. " I know I'm just worried about you. You don't have a mate to protect you." Marie said. " I am ok. Dang I can protect myself." I growl. See there she goes again about to mate thing. I get it I don't have a mate. Marie has a mate, Bryson. Luna has a mate, my brother Alec but Luna don't bug me like Marie.

I heard a scream from pain in the woods. I run to the screaming to see a very adorable guy getting the live beating out of him. He was a dragon. But ignore the fact he's a dragon and I run to help him but Marie pulled me back. "Are you crazy Ember?" Marie freaks out on me. "I have to save him. " I growl. "No. He's not one of us. Do you know what he'll do to you? " Marie said. "He won't and if he does. I'll deal with it. Maybe I can get him our side." I said breaking free and running to the poor boy. "No he will never be on our side. He's a dragon." Marie growled. "Hey let go of him. " I growl at his attackers. "Awwwww aren't you cute. Going on sweetheart this isn't for little girls. " he smirked at me. Ew I am not a little girl. I'm 18 close to an adult. "Just let him go." I growl again. One of then grab me when Luna punches him. "I'll help fight them. " Luna said. We fight them to help poor dragon boy.
