Ember's pov
Luna and I fought off the dragons to help the poor boy. After we finish I walk over to him. I wasn't going to hurt him. I tell him that I won't. He tells me his name's Damon. He said "I'm used to it." Why would he be used to being hurt. "Why?" I ask him. His golden eyes look into my green eyes. "Because of my family." Damon said as I go to hug him because i felt bad but something stopped me. I could smell his scent. 'Mate' my wolf said happily. I back up and Damon watching me.

"Luna" I said going to her. "Yes!" Luna said. "I found my mate." I said getting quieter. "Why's that bad." Luna ask. I look at Luna then Damon. "Oooooh." Luna said. I lost my freedom because of my mate. "I have to take him with me. I can't leave him here covered in blood or let him go back to his territory. If he comes with me, The wolves may hurt him." I said not knowing what to do. "Just bring him. He'll be ok." Luna said. "No you're crazy. He'll kill us all." Marie screamed. "Shut up no one ask you." Luna growls.

Luna and I walks over to help Damon up. "I'm no part in this." Marie said and runs off. "Thanks." Damon said throwing his arm around to stay balance. "Lets go. You're coming to my house." I said. "O-o-o-ok." Damon said. Luna, Damon, and I walk back my house. Luckly no one was home.
