An Offer to Consider

When you got home everyone was asleep. However James got up earlier than usual and you could feel something was wrong.

But you stayed silent and out of his way getting your daughter ready to go Rileys soon. She munched on a waffle while you did so, but she could sense the tension and stayed silent as well.

You didn't like it though. He kept glaring at you and you had a bad feeling so you sent y/d/n off to her room to pick out an outfit, but told her to stay in there till you got her.

"Is... is everything okay James?"

Perhaps you should of stayed silent because the sound of your voice seemed to make him snap and without warning his hands were around your throat and you were pushed roughly against the wall.

You couldn't breath.

"I swear to god... if your whore ass is hiding anything from me... I'll fucking slit your throat" He hissed his grip around your neck tightening.

You could only slightly process his words as the instinct of flight or flight took over and adrenaline pushed you to get away and breath.

But he had you pinned and seemed to enjoy the moment.

Did he find out?

He's never threatened to kill you before...

You vision was getting a bit hazy but he finally let you go and you dropped to the ground in a coughing fit trying to get in air.

You hands went to your throat and you avoided eye contact with him.

It didn't seem to help because he grabbed you by your hair and made you stand up slamming you against the wall again.

He seemed to ponder something before suddenly his fist met your face and your nose was now bleeding. He didn't punch hard enough to break it but it would definitely bruise.

You clenched your jaw to hold back any noises of pain. You didn't want your daughter to hear... least not too much as you were sure she heard some stuff.

He seemed satisfied with the damage he'd done and walked off leaving you wheezing and bleeding.

What the fuck?

You had to get out of here...

Shakily you stood up and went into the bathroom.

Bruising was already forming around your neck and you nose was beggining to swell. You got a towel to stop the bleeding and then gently washed your face. Your nose fucking hurt and it was a little tough to breath through it.

You applied some makeup to your nose and neck to hide the bruising.

You took a deep breath and left the bathroom. James was gone. Probably off to work.

You got your daughter and drove her to Rileys. You weren't trying to stay long.

This may be incredibly risky after what just happened, but you were going to the pizzaplex today.

Arriving at the bustling complex you made your way inside. You didn't have a real reason to come here. You just... wanted to feel safe. And this place provided that feeling.

It didn't take long for the glamrocks to spot you. Their morning performance was coming to an end so all he could do was wink at you.

Causing you to blush and smile. Damn him.

You didn't expect them to be able to talk to you so you just went to one of the tables in the food courts. You didn't order any food you just watched all the people. You weren't trying to be creepy. You were just.. feeling a bit off.

You were scared.

And sad you ever got yourself into this relationship with James.

You had a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach that something was going to happen. Something bad.

"I could kill him for you if you help me escape..."

The voice took you off gaurd. He'd been absent for a while...

"Why would I help you escape? I don't even know who you are. Or if your good or bad" you got some looks for talking to yourself but you ignored it.

"Why should it concern you? Free me. And I free you. We don't ask eachother questions."

"Can you at least tell me your name?"

You could somehow hear him sigh inside you head, "William."

"Tell you what William. I'll think about it."

"Think fast then. Otherwise I'll just go back to my own methods of escape."

You knew his own methods meant killing you or forcing a possession over you so tou didn't bother asking or saying anything else.

Actually you were a bit surprised you even told him you'd think about it.

You were getting desperate though. You didn't want to die when you were so close to freedom.

However you didn't know who William was. What if releasing him was bad?

"Yn!" Roxy appeared before you and sat down with you. You hadn't even heard her approach.

"Hi Roxy" you smiled.

"What are you doing here? You work tonight should you be sleeping?"

"Yeah I know. I just needed to be away from there for a bit."

"Are you okay?" She tilted her head.

"Mhm yes. Just had a rough morning."

She narrowed her eyes at you, "did he hurt you?"

You wanted to say no. But she'd just scan you anyways so you nodded. "I don't want to talk about it though."

"I understand... however I would personally like to gut him" she growled.

"Oh calm down" you laughed, "I should be out of there soon."

"I hope so. We all do."

"Shouldn't you be playing with children?" You raised a brow at her.

"Yes. But I wanted to see if you were okay. And also so did Freddy but he's more busy so be sent me."

"Ah I seen, you were sent to spy on me" you playfully rolled your eyes and giggled.

"Affirmative" she smiled, "but I suppose I should go to. You should get some rest soon" she gave you a light hug and walked away.

You were feeling tired. The adrenaline took a lot of your energy so you took her advice and went home to nap.

Setting an alarm to wake up and make dinner.

You had no nightmares.

When the alarm went off you went and picked up your daughter and then started on dinner. As you finished drugging James portion he came home.

Quickly you went back to serving you and your daughter.

James was twitchy and seemed irritated but this time you didn't ask what was wrong.

He took longer than usual to fall asleep so you had to rush to work once he fell asleep. You barely made it before th barriers came down.

That was close...

James had intended to follow you but work took a lot out of him and the drugs made him even more tired. He stayed asleep this time.
