Chapter 13

I tackle Tyler to the ground shifting. He shifts too, but I still have him pinned down. I bare my teeth at him growling.

He throws me off and I land on my side, but get back up fast. I snap my teeth at him, and he snarls at me. We start circling each other I am standing strong making myself bigger. The sad part is he is doing the same, and is bigger than me.

He lunges at me and I meet him head on. He grabs my shoulder biting down with a ton of force. I tried grabbing his ear, and he got my shoulder. The pain is excruciating and I feel him bite harder. I yelp out in pain and feel him dislocate my shoulder from his iron grip he held on it.

He twists it like he was trying to ripe it off. I hear growling in the background, but tune it out trying to focus on getting out of his hold. I try turning but nothing is working. 'Tate!' Is all I say before Tyler is ripped away and I am dropped on the ground.

I whine from the pain as Luke and Brandon run to my side. "Maci it's going to be okay." Luke says.

"Your shoulder is dislocated, I'm going to put it back okay. Do not shift yet that could mess it up." I nod my head and look to Tate and Tyler. One day though I won't hold back, and Tyler might not make it. I'm just afraid they will think I'm a monster, but my wolf just has anger problems.

Tate pins him to the ground growling and snarling at him. Tate bites his shoulder and nearly pulls it off. Then he releases his grip, but bites Tyler's snout. He makes Tyler yelp, but doesn't stop until Tyler puts his head down in submission. I yelp at the pain as my shoulder is put back in its place. Tate's head snaps to me and his eyes grow darker as he comes to my side growling. Luke and Brandon move back as Tate lowers his head to mine.

I see everyone exchange a blank look with each other. 'Are you okay?' Tate asks me.

'I will be it just really hurts.' I say looking right into his eyes. He moves his head back a little so our noses are almost touching. 'I think they all know. I can't have them say anything, especially to my father.' I say worried.

'It will be fine, they won't dare say anything.' He assures me. I try getting up, and Tate helps me. I lean against him causing my wolf to purr, and I hear Tate's doing the same. He rests his head on mine and then realizes the others are watching us.

He looks down at me, and I meet his eyes, they were the beautiful blue color again. 'We have to shift.' I nod my head and go to a tree I know has clothes in it. I shift and come back out to see Tate is already back to his human form.

"I'm sorry." Tyler says. I just give him a look to keep his mouth shut, and let out a warning growl. I hold my shoulder and Tate looks at it growling.

"What is up with you two?" Luke asks.

"Don't say it's nothing, Maci, we aren't blind." Brandon says. I frown as I walk next to Tate.

"We're mates." I say watching my two guy friends take in the news. Tate grabs my hand with his calming my nerves. "You can't tell my father that we are meeting. He still isn't happy about it yet." They nod their heads still having a blank expression.

"That goes for you guys too, don't tell anyone." Tate says darkly, and his guys gulp and nod. I look at them and they look at me trying to analyze me. Tate growls at them. "Don't look at her."

"Tate stop." I say lightly hitting his chest. I look at him and he looks in my eyes. "I'm not theirs." I tell him, and his eyes darken a little with lust. At that moment it took everything in me to not kiss him. "But you guys have to leave, Evelyn and Lilly will be here soon. They can't know this happened."

Tate looks hurt but nods his head. "I'll see you later tonight." He says kissing my forehead. "At elven you know where." He whispers and walks away, but I grab his arm stopping him. He turns and looks at me confused. I pull him to me and hug him.

I feel all the warn tingles his touch gives me, and I melt as his arms wrap around me. I look up at him and he kisses the top of my head. He pulls away then jogs off with the three guys following behind him.
