Ahsoka sat down at her seat in Tutor with a happy smile on her face. She felt like she'd made a good decision in talking to Mr Skywalker this morning and felt very excited at the prospect of him being a parent. However she did wonder why he didn't sound certain about this but knew it wasn't her place to question his personal life.

The ending bell rang to signal the proper start of Tutor just as Kanan swung into class, waving goodbye to his girlfriend, Hera. Mr Skywalker clapped his hands together to get their attention. "Hello class, I hope you're all okay. I know we had a lot of fun yesterday designing some features for our village and I was very impressed however Grand Master Yoda has called an assembly. So that means all of us, Cal, have to sort out our uniform and prepare. Line up in alphabetical order please and stop grumbling." He looked pointedly at Cal who was muttering about having to tuck his shirt in while Sabine discreetly tried to hide her neon painted nails and dyed hair. Granted it was only the front bit but in a bright orange colour and Mr Windu was perhaps the toughest teacher to persuade.

With a bit of fuss, the Tutor group managed to line up in alphabetical order despite friends trying to walk together. Ahsoka was towards the back of the line due to her being 'T' with Sabine behind her. "Force, I hate assemblies, they are soooooo boring!" She moaned as Mr Skywalker led them out of the classroom, Charlie block and then towards the Main Hall. Ahsoka smiled at her and patted her arm for she did agree with her however it did depend on what the assembly was about. However this one would most likely be a 'welcome to the new year' one. They could go either way.

They stood in a line outside the hall, waiting for the assembly of start. Mr Windu, who was their head of year, opened the door and directed them inside. "Miss Wren, I assume you are aware that your hair isn't correct. He narrowed his eyes at her while Sabine carried on walking to her chair. He sighed and muttered. "We'll talk after the assembly." Before walking over to Miss Secura who was in charge of the laptop that controlled the PowerPoint.

Sabine grumbled. "Great, can't wait for that." She then folded her arms and crossed one leg over the other. Ahsoka gave her a small smile as one of the Tutor groups for Younglings entered. Lux's Tutor. Temple Academy was split into four houses: Padawans, Knights, Masters and Younglings. Ahsoka was in Padawans and Barriss was in the other one. Ahsoka felt herself suck in a breath as he walked through the doors. Lux didn't look any different then he had yesterday but Ahsoka's opinion of him certainly had. They were all brought into the room in silence so they didn't have a chance to communicate or look at each other.

Eventually everyone had entered and seated themselves before Grand Master Yoda stood up on the stage. He was a small, elderly and wrinkled gentleman who had been teaching at this school for years. No one was one hundred percent sure of how old he was exactly. Yoda climbed onto a chair made for him and smiled out at Year 10, his walking stick held close in his lap. "Good morning, Year 10." He started before they chorused it back to him in something very close to unison. "Well, I hope you all are?" Yoda also had this really weird habit of talking backwards which confused many students, old and new. "A new year, it is. Learn from our past and prepare for the future, we must. Now, to Mr Windu, I hand you over to. Continue with your assembly, he will." Grand Master Yoda then hobbled off stage with Mr Kenobi helping him while Mr Windu took to the stage.

"Thank you, Grand Master Yoda for that lovely introduction. Now, Year 10, a big year." He turned to them, eyes steeled with expectations. "But not as big as next year. You must work hard this year though for you have mocks and revision to start as well as your GCSE coursework." He motioned to Miss Secura who tapped on the laptop to move the screen along. "Statistics. Attendance last year: Your Year was the highest in the school with Padawans 1 being the highest." Barriss's group, probably because of her. "House points: Third highest, top Tutor group was Knights 2." Riyo. "Detentions: Most in the school." A few laughs went out of the mouths of the more obnoxious students. Ahsoka felt herself grinning as well for she remembered teachers last year saying how bright yet difficult all their classes were. She sympathised with the teachers and the hardship they faced when teaching such a year group. Mr Windu didn't seem as impressed by that. "Definite room for improvement. We will be having a uniform check afterwards so we can nip the problem with uniform in the bud early." Sabine huffed at this but didn't do anything else. "To sum up, try to be better, you always can be. Just follow the rules and respect us. Also, you're doing subjects you only really want to do, put some effort into them." Ahsoka noticed a few students roll their eyes and gesture to their friends. Not everyone had clearly chosen their GCSES based on their special interests. She knew that speeches like that was meant to be inspiring but surely people could see that tough love and unrealistic expectations were not the way to go to get good results? It didn't matter so much to her, Ahsoka could easily toe the line, so long as she didn't get bored.

The assembly ended with students being dismissed row by row and stacking their chairs neatly and quietly to the side. Ahsoka put her chair away and then followed the sound of Mr Skywalker as he called his Tutor just outside where they lined up for their uniform check. She snuck onto the end of the line, pulling her skirt down slightly and checking that her shirt was tucked in. Ahsoka had forgotten to put earrings in today so didn't have to worry about those. Miss Undli had a piece of paper in her hand and was going down the line, making notes and comments as she passed. "Sabine, you need to sort out your hair. Is it permanent?" Ahsoka didn't hear her answer but saw her former history teacher shake her head. "Also, your skirt is too short, sort that out please." She moved along. "Okay, Mr Kestis, your shirt needs to be tucked in and where is your tie?" She raised an eyebrow at him.

"No idea, Miss." Cal chirped happily.

Miss Undli sighed and continued, not even bothering to reply. "Okay Mr Skywalker, some issues but nothing except hair colour that's particularly major. They're alright." She handed him the piece of paper and went off to check another group.

Mr Skywalker shook his head. "No idea what she's talking about, you guys are great. Now come on, go back and get your bags and go to next lesson." He shooed them away as they grinned up at him. "Hey Cal, keep that short tucked in and I'll give you five house points. Got it?" Cal replied with a thumbs up as he raced Kanan back. Anakin smiled at their joy but noticed Ahsoka had remained behind. "You okay Snips, waiting for your friend again?" He teased her.

Ahsoka gave a small frown and shook her head. "No, I was waiting for you, are you coming?"

Anakin grinned at her consideration but shook his head. "No, I've got to stay behind and have a teacher version of that. Trust me, you guys have it easy. If you don't do what they expect you to do, we're the ones that get the blame. Don't worry about me though, go get to your next lesson." Anakin told her as she waved goodbye.

Obi-wan came up behind him. "I could be mistaken but I think I just saw Cal Kestis leave with his shirt tucked in, what did you do? And how did you do it?" He looked mock-shocked and Anakin knew but he still wanted his approval.

"I spoke their language, mi amigo mejor." He patted Obi-wan on the back as they went back inside the Hall.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter, once again daily. I also hope you liked what I did for the different houses and Windu and Yoda. I'll update again tomorrow most likely. Bye, bye.
