Lux had surprisingly enjoyed the assembly and was looking forward to his lessons today. He was also keen to find Ahsoka and talk to her. Over the last few days he noticed that she was rather beautiful on the inside and out and her personality was infectious. Lux knew he couldn't keep denying it to himself, he liked Ahsoka Tano a lot. Steela was nice and all but she could be mean and paranoid as well as a little too headfast. Lux had gotten tired a few years back of being the one to hold her back from making mistakes and listening to her brother call him controlling.

When he'd gone to the park, Lux had hoped to tidy up their past and maybe start their friendship anew. Steela had been a great friend to him at the time of his father's death. However when he had clearly stated these boundaries at the park, Steela had become more than unhappy. She'd cried and shouted, swearing and sobbing. Lux hated making people upset, regardless of how bad. Eventually Steela had calmed down and they had sat next to each other on the bench, Lux allowing her to let her feelings out. He should have seen it coming in hindsight but he was always naïve to tactics like that.

The kiss had barely lasted more than a few seconds, one last desperate attempt by Steela to get him to change his mind. It hadn't worked and if anything had solidified the idea that he loved Ahsoka. Lux had pulled out of it pretty quickly but hadn't shouted at Steela, he knew she was hurting. Ever a gentleman, he'd offered to walk her home to keep her safe but Steela just shouted at him to leave him alone and called Saw, her brother, instead. To be honest Lux was surprised Saw hadn't come to attack him yet.

As Lux was on his way to Spanish, a hand reached out from a corner in the wall and pulled him to the side. He was very surprised but felt relief flood through him when it wasn't Saw or Steela. It was another girl though who Lux wasn't acquainted with yet. "Can I help you?" He asked her politely.

The girl laughed and shook her head as she released his shoulder from her death grip. "Wow, you really are just a kitten in a lion's den, aren't you?" Asajj Ventress asked him with a smile.

Lux frowned. "I don't know what you mean? And I don't want to be late to class..." He started to walk away but the girl simply followed him.

"That's fine, I just needed to start a conversation. I'm Asajj Ventress and we didn't have to stay there. Now, how would you classify your relationship with Ahsoka Tano?" Asajj asked him, rather forwardly.

Lux looked momentarily surprised but answered anyway. "We're friends... Why?" He had slowed down now to talk to her properly.

"Well I happened to notice you getting rather cosy with that rather pushy girl in the year above us. As did your 'friend'. Yes, I know, time to be mortified." Asajj laughed at the horrified look on his face. "Now, I have it from a reliable source that your little lip licking buddy found out from Pet's friend, the goody-two-shoes, that the pair of you were getting close. Close enough that she felt threatened. Oh don't look so surprised, did you not think there was an ulterior motive to her re-establishing your friendship?" Lux feebly shook his head as they entered Alpha block. "Well now you know. Anyway, with this Steela girl messing with Pet, I can't mess with her myself. This is a problem for me. Therefore I sincerely request to your political gentleman side that you fix all this drama! 'Cause no offense, but you're really not worth all this fuss." Asajj patted him on the back with a mischievous grin as she left him to ponder what she had rather surprisingly told him.

Barriss sat silently in her chair, sketching the picture from her mood board when Asajj breezed in and plonked herself down next to her. "Goody, I need to talk to you. Now." She snapped at her, puling a wad of gum out of her pocket.
