It was the Morning making Aoife stretch her eyes shut as her bones popped as she rose from her bed looking at the disheveled covers as she pushed herself out to look out the window to see how it looked half past morning.
To only hear a knock at the door making the woman look down at her pink long nightgown as she opened it to see Maribel.
" Hi auntie, can I come in?" Aoife nodded her head opening the door for the girl to be greeted with bright colors.
" It looks exactly like it did from childhood" her eyes going to the hourglass as she saw how the colorful sand fell.
" When did that happen?"
" Azul was trying to change colors still and it turned rainbow, she wanted to change it but Bruno told her to keep it. Cause he loved it how her gift was growing and he could watch it." Aoife gushed slightly as she watched the sand fall as her eyes twinkled.
"I need to do something, can you cut the sand off?" As the woman scrunched her face up at what her niece had said.
"No, though come here" she quickly pulled the girl as they walked through the sand until Aoife saw the stair.
" Jesus" Aoife hummed out until she noticed a toucan coming out Maribel smiling.
"Lot of stairs, but at least I'll have a friend with my aunt"Though the bird flew away quickly discarding the two women in the sand.
" I have a better way for us to get up there and come with me." Aoife quickly grabbed her niece's hand taking her to the side of the stairs until she swept away the sand to look at the big box and the rope in the box.
" Ok so it's a pully it's with upper body strength I'll pull first if that is ok?" Aoife spoke softly as she got into the box Maribel looked at the box in fear.
" It may be old, but it's trusty I use to go up to your tío in this in my day!" Aoife seemed to wrestle with her words slightly as she seemed stressed as Maribel went into it.
The site started to pull upwards " are you sure this would be good for you to use Auntie I don't want your arms to be tired." Maribel tried to converse with her aunt who seemed to be at ease pulling the box up toward where ever it needed to be.
" How is Luisa?" Aoife gave a soft reply not paying attention to what she had said.
" Somehow she is losing her gift like it wasn't even there, Azuls is going hey wire everything is changing colors wherever she goes. Alyah is having issues with hers it's like she has really bad hiccup-" though she was cut off when the woman continued to pull her eyes not leaving at how the rope moved.
" How are you, Maribel?" It was a soft hun in her tone as she spoke it.
