No one on Earth could predict this.

Ekko stared at the oldest of three lifeless bodies.

"No.." He whispered. Mylo, Claggor, Vander, all three dead. He was just a kid, how could he lose his whole family in less than a week? Speaking of which, where was Powder and VI? He needed to find them. They were more important. Yeah, Vander, Claggor and Mylo were his family, but they weren't VI and Powder. VI was like a mom to Ekko, ever since his parents passed. And Powder, oh Powder was the light of his day. The one thing keeping him going in these dark times...but he found no sign of either. Tears welled up in his eyes as he was left to bury the lot of them, using a different type of rubble on each one as a headstone. For mylo, a pole, for Claggor, a piece of a door, and for Vander, a fallen piece of ceiling that resembled a 'V'. Assuming that VI and Powder were also dead, he buried two flowers in their memories.

"That was a long time ago, Ekko." A girl groaned, thumping a boys forehead. The girl had tanned skin, middle lengthed purple hair and green eyes. "You're a part of the rebellion now! You've gotta stop focusing on your childhood and focus on the future!" She groaned.
"You're right, Thalia." The boy sighed. Dark skin, with white hair and baggy clothes, this was the new Ekko. The leader of the Firelights Ekko. The "I-ignore-my-childhood-trauma" Ekko.

"Now go, don't you have training or something?" He teased.

"No, just stopping your girlfriend from selling Shimmer again. Yaaaay." She rolled her eyes and left.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Ekko called as she walked away. Though the thought of Powder never left his mind. Even after Jinx had tried to kill him, and herself on that bridge. He still saw...Powder. The little girl he grew up with. The look in her eyes as he held back from hitting her again, the same girl who used to tease him about his height and help him in Benzo's shop. He just couldn't come to terms with the thought of Jinx. Jinx was terrible. A masochistic drug-dealer who doesn't need to be out and about. But she was.

"Ekko! Piltover just got nuked!" Another boy ran in, about 4 years younger than Ekko. Eyes widened, face pale with fear.

"What!? By who!?" Ekko shouted, standing up and leaving his office space. It was true. The capital building of Piltover was on fire for all to see.

"Jinx."
