It had been two weeks since Ekkos rescue, and therefore, two weeks since Vi had found out that she was going to be an aunt. She sat on her bed, staring at the ground. How could Powder hide this from her? How did she let time pass by so fast that this was even happening? She didn't feel real. As she stared at her bandaged hands, mildly stained with blood, it made her think.
'Where did I go wrong?'
She didn't have to think long. She knew exactly how. If she had just saved Powder, if she had fought back instead of succumbing to the chloroform, this wouldn't have happened. She would've defeated Silco, not letting her sister consider him a father.
"Vi?" A soothing British voice spoke, breaking her from her trance. She looked over to the doorway, where Caitlyn stood. "Are you alright?"
Vi sighed. "She's pregnant, and I find out during a decoy. I'm going to be an aunt, to a baby I may have to fight." She said, knitting her eyebrows. "God...why us?" She rhetorically whispered. Caitlyn frowned.
"Look, Vi... Your sister isn't who she used to be. Powder sounds like an amazing girl, and she would've been an amazing woman, but Jinx? Jinx is a war criminal and a dangerous woman to be around. If anything, we should save her baby from her." The blue-haired brit suggested.
"What? No! Powder will be an amazing mother. I- I hope? Ekko will keep her in line. She's not some monster. She's just a girl. She doesn't understand the world -"
"She is twenty years old, Vi! She knows damn well how the world works. She doesn't care. You have got to let her go. You can't save her. But you can save her child." Caitlyn argued, and Vi scoffed in reply.
"She's my sister. I will do anything to save her." She said, standing up and walking out of the room, pushing past Caitlyn. She needed to see her sister.
In the quiet of the night, she slipped out into the city that had come to be 'Zaun'. She would die calling it the Undercity, though. She flew from building to building, easily hopping from roof to roof, scaling walls and sliding down pipes.
It didn't take her long to find where the Firelights were, as well as the Resistance, as they'd been molded to be called. She managed to sneak her way into the building, and after scowering the halls for maybe 15 minutes, she found the room her sister was in. The pale girls eyes were closed, her long blue hair finally released from their tight braids. She laid on her left side, as she always did. Vi walked to the end of the girls bed, staring down at the newly-forming baby bump on her sister's stomach.

Vi bit her lip, fighting the sting of tears in her eyes. She watched her little sister breathe, the rise and fall of her chest, how she occasionally snored and made quiet noises. She stood there for a matter of moments, but to her, it felt like hours. She only moved when she heard footsteps, leaving out of the window. She watched as a guard entered with a boy, who she soon realized as Ekko. He looked tired. He slipped off his boots, and the guard left. He climbed into the bed with her, and she watched a warm smile creep onto his face as Jinx turned over to wrap an arm around him.
"What time is it...?" The Princess quietly uttered.
"Around 2." He replied quietly. "Go back to sleep." He whispered, and she did just that. He closed his eyes, protectively wrapping his arms around her as his eyes slipped shut, and he entered slumber close behind her.
Vi sighed. She was happy they had each other. She just wished she could be there. She wanted to hug her and tell her how happy she was for her. She wanted to tell her how hard parenting is and that she was there for her whenever she needed her. She wanted to tell her how stupid she was, for having a baby at 20 years old mid-war.

Most of all, she wanted to be there. To just be there, with her little sister. But she couldn't. She knew she couldn't. Because Jinx wasn't Powder anymore, and Jinx and Vi were destined to be enemies, not sisters.
